Newsflash to the many Subway janitors and Doner Kebab slicers on here, Boxing is a business just as much as it's a sport.

Why do you feel the need to justify behaviour that degrades the value of boxing?

Basically what he said is that Broner is not suited for WW and shouldn't have been taking on a big puncher at that weight. It's kind of hard to argue with this. Broner got his ass kicked. Not only that, but the fans are trashing him.

Not justifying anything, just stating the obvious. This sport is a business. You can be super courageous all you want, without proper management and promotion no one will know you to give a damn your courage existed. Remember when Leonard told Hearns to "**** off" when everyone was demanding that fight and asked him to reach the same level of Duran for them to consider a fight?. I don't think Leonard was being a coward at the time but he sure as hell was labeled one by those that don't understand the business side of the sport.

Exactly and no one is giving him credit for taking the big risk when he could(and possibly should) have taken the easier route.

Intelligent observation. Same can be said about Leonard refusal ( ducking) of Aaron Pryor. High Risk, low reward. Fans were pissed nonetheless.

Margarito is about the sakpme size as Golovkin. That doesn't mean that Margo would've been suited to fight at MW.

Concreto needed loaded gloves to call out and lose against opponents half his size at 147, at MW he would have been starched and carried out in a trash bag.
