The irony of this statement is that Vitali probably KO's his younger brother if they did fight. Vitali is also tougher. He wanted to keep going against Lewis, even though he was badly cut.

Question: Can anyone name an ATG heavyweight without a signature win, a win over a HOFer or a win over another ATG? I can't think of a single one not named Klitschko.

Why isn't anyone who voted yes explaining how this is an ATG resume?

resume is only part of it, you can only fight who is there and willing to fight.
more important than resume is how you performed in the ring, what skills you showed and how you best your opponents

Tyson won part of a title he would unify at 20. Marciano's signature win is the first Walcott fight.

If the majority of your opponents are considered weak comp than how can you judge how one fighters performs compared to a guy who fought much stiffer comp?

Sorry for interrupting the debate, but there isn't such thing as an "ATG". It's up to you who you consider a "great" fighter and honestly, what difference will it make if you consider someone as "all-time great" or not? What difference will it make if Klitschko is inducted to Hall of Fame or not? HOF is an American thing, and not just in boxing, but also in other sports in the US.

As for Vitali, he left his mark in boxing.

Its not only who you beat, but how dominating you are when you beat them. The same can be said for losses. Vitali has the best rounds won to round lost ratio in the history of boxing, was never floored by a punch, never lost more than 3 rounds, and came back after a long lay off in his mid 30's to kick @ss for a few more years.

Wrong again, he was a heavyweight, the champion in fact. Have you ever considered why his record was what it was? Let me give you a little insight.

This is why I hold him in high regard h2h. Looking at who he fought though its not justifiable to consider him an ATG over fighters who fought better comp.

Stop pulling numbers out of your ass. Peter was ranked #2 at the time of the fight. Sanders was #3.

Herbie Hide, Kirk Johnson, Danny Williams, Gomez, Kevin Johnson and Solis were also in ring top 10 at the time they fought Vitali.

I don't copy and paste others work and try and pass it off as my own like you have. But while you're following me around, why don't you explain what makes Vits resume good?
