Is Broner all of a sudden within the space of a few months dramatically going to improve his non existent footwork and head movement. Let's get one thing straight here, Maidana was tagging Broner at will so easily, he was a sitting duck. was getting hit with rhe same combinations too. Is he going to develop awesome footwork and boxing smarts? Because he didn't seem to have much in that fight. The only way to beat Maidana is by outboxing him.

How is Broner going to be able to do that? He wi'll dramatically need to improve. He should step down his opposition and build up to it. But I don't mind seeing Maidana beat up on him some more.

I know but all this "gimme, gimme, gimme a second chance", "let me at him again"... :-(

Take your lumps like a man son, stop whingeing and get back in the line...

    That's old school!

Funny thing is, Khan found it easy to bark for an immediate rematch with Peterson but wanted none of Prescott and Garcia. That said, Khan can't be compared to Broner. Khan was robbed in that fight and wanted a rematch to avenge a fake loss. Broner is going after a guy that gave him absolute hell.

A convincing ass-kicking is not rematch worthy. Broner needs to regroup Maidana should move on to a bigger/better challenge!

Yeah you wonder how Floyd would respond to a loss....... would he be found coked out in an alley somewhere?

Broner needs to stay away from pressure fighters until he figures out how to deal with them.

Floyd is advising Briner to move down to 140 and fight a solid jr Welterweight on his under card next May. I think Fliyd and I finally agree on something.

The fight was super exicitng, everybody would watch the fight a rematch. usually the champ that lost gets a rematch.

its not like Broner lost 12-0, yea he got worked and lost most rounds but was competiive and even throwing down in the last round fter gets spanked the whole fight

Which is why Broner was so quick to give Malignaggi and Ponce de Leon rematches.

Broner fought dirty, had an obvious favorable ref, got kd TWO times and lost the fight 10-2 on my scorecard. The excitement was not about how close the fight was.
Broner didn't even fight any worse than he usually does. He was the same old flatfooted, head shaking, stationary, throw 20 punches a round stiff that he usually is.
He is simply not on Maidanas level, or world championship level at 147 (or 140). Outclassed and exposed. WHO NECKS!?

an immediate rematch...as soon as possible. ..would be a great fight for maidana to take.
dont give broner time to fully recover or get a new gameplan...and earn a huge payday this time in a fight he can definitely win again.

he has the ability to win but he really needs to tighten up that defense to do so. i can't help but feel like this will turn into some Salido-Juanma **** if he doesn't make any changes.

i know his pride was hurt, but he really should listen to Floyd. go down to 140, let your body and craft develop, then move up and go after the rematch. he's 24.

No immediate rematch! Broner got beaten convincingly and clearly. Immediate rematch normally happens when the fight is pretty close or when there is a robbery.

Broner needs to adapt his style. He needs to work on his defense. If he fights Maidana next, he'll get KTFO.
