Actually Vinny is one of the coolest guys you could ever meet in the gym or any place else. Nothing like the ****y guy you see in the ring or interviews.
Im acquainted with him. He use to come to a gym I fought out of in the early 90's and we're from the same neighborhood. Always had time to help the amateurs and had good words to say. Last time I saw him was at the airport and he was on his way to the Manfredo-Chavez fight. He still lives in RI and is still in great shape. Other than that I can't tell you much unless its about one of his fights...most of which I attended live.
Paz was the man. There is a movie comin out about him. Scorsese is producing it so you know it will be good

He was the Showtime boxing expert commentator during 1990's. He got the boot because of repeated DUI's.
Im only aware of one DUI, but Vinny was and always has been a party guy. I'd often see him out at the clubs or titty bars. Still mad cool though.
