You have to remember what you're dealing with in this thread.

 

Ali og 1966/67 would´ve had an easy night against Wladimir. The Ukrainian Brothers both told Emanuel Steward that they wished they had the skills to be compared with fighters like Ali and Robinson. They´ve got a jab, a powerful jab -. that´s about it. They´ve got no footwork, no combinations, they are very, very good at clinching But they are not natural born fighters like Ali.

Just to add, apart from being the same size and weight, Haye and Ali have hardly any similarities.

Most of these fools on here don't appreciate things like footwork.

Ali had incredible footwork.

Haye's never had great footwork.

Haye's fast, but he doesn't throw combinations of four and five shots etc.

The only advantage he has, is one shot power.


They're completely different fighters. Wlad had Haye trapped against the ropes and couldn't land clean, so how would he have landed flush, on an 'up on his toes' Ali, in the centre of the ring?

Ali's footwork would have been a nightmare for Wlad.
