He is essentially a true LW (not WW) so how does he do against the following all in there primes:

    Roberto Duran 103-16-0
    Pernell Whitaker 40-4-2
    Henry Armstrong 150-20-10
    Julio Cesar Chavez 107-6-2
    Aaron Pryor 39-1-0
    Hector Camacho 79-6-3
    Antonio Cervantes 123-15-4

If you even consider that he could lose any of these how can he be the GOAT, if he's not the best at his own size range?

He's definitely in good company however when you consider the names mentioned, and If you say he beats them all, It's clearly a possibility with his skillset.

There is a thread where I opposed Rumsfeld reducing FMJ...I tried convincing him & now myself that Floyd can become the GOAT

The reality that Mayweather himself gave up on that, now he wants to be the ATG richest boxer...which is also cool :good

NO more GOAT, he gave up himself...around the same time 50 stepped away

Duran - Duran wins, too powerful and skilled for Floyd.
Whitaker - Whitaker close win, fight is bottled up and sold for insomnia sufferers.
Armstrong - Armstrong would outwork FMJ with his relentless stamina.
Chavez - Winnable fight for FMJ (also for Chavez).
Pryor - Winnable fight for FMJ (although Pryor is a 140 pounder).
Camacho - Winnable fight for FMJ (See Chavez above).
Cervantes - Winnable fight for FMJ, possibly the fighter he would be the most favored against on your list.

Mayweather ducked his one clear legacy fight. This single handedly voids any chance of him being in the GOAT discussion.

Even the most diehard Pac fan knows deep down that Mayweather beats Manny.
Admit it... There you feel better now??

Philly shell ( as broner so wonderfully displayed ) cannot handle a good left punch

High guard leaves you open to body punches

PAC would be floyds biggest test and he ducked it

Pryor eats Mayweather in his prime...he ate right hands for fun

Hell I feel Pryor is Durans only duck (his manager)

If Floyd is a Lightweight, than Pac is a Featherweight. I don't include him as there two different sizes just like SRR and SRL are too big (true WW's) for FMJ.

I do think Pac gives Floyd a hell of a fight though.
