Ruslan to Brandon on twitter: "I agree we can make a great fight... I'm ready.."

As I've said many times before, this is a REALLY bad idea for Rios, he really needs to take some time off to heal, rest and recover. Robert Garcia was sitting next to Rios laughing in the video where he challenged Provodnikov, he must not care about his fighter's health or he's too arrogant and believes that Rios will walk through Provodnikov and KO him. I think Rios is gonna get destroyed in this one, unlike Pacquiao, Provodnikov is a vicious fighter who doesn't know mercy and Rios chin is too good for his own good meaning that he will take monster shots from Provodnikov over and over again without getting knocked out, by Round 9 Rios will be walking around like a severely brain damaged zombie. Rios and his management are idiots, why go to war again when they're sitting on good money from the Pacquiao fight? If any of them had a brain they would let Rios rest, recover and train for a good year and then get him back into the ring against Alvarado to avenge the loss.

And Rios responded "yes sir me to so let make it happen"

Interesting fight. We'll see if it gets signed or not.

Rios is gonna be retired by 30 :-(

Top Rank really fuxk up their fighters

If Rios was in GBP he could fight someone like Judah, Peterson at 140, Robert Guerrero, so every fight isnt a war

Provodnikov stops him it will be sad to see

This will take a lot out of both fighters. I heavily favor Ruslan. They should both be paid in a few mill a piece for whats going to happen to their health.

As much as it is a fight that will provide all the excitement and brutality even the most bloodthirsty could want, I kinda agree it's one that'll probably shorten the careers of both guys.

Is it a fight I'd watch? - hell yeah, but I'd probably be feeling bad about it the moment it was over. I guess Rios wants that title, and there ain't so many names available, but I wouldn't have recommended this one to him.

    Alvarado lol

Its sad how small the top rank roster is around these weights

Pac vs Bradley II and Pac vs Marquez V makes sense though

I expect III and VI in the future

Hopefully Provodnikov does not get screwed over again by taking a small percentage of the purse. He deserves at least an even split. And do not give me that garbage about Rios being the main attraction and revenue generator.

Well its not like it's down to the fighters who fights who. Fight isn't made yet, and I hope it isn't for Rios' sake. I think Garcia should step in and tell Rios he shouldn't take the fight.
