Lets face facts, Broner got beaten up in a pretty one sided fight, against a guy he was supposed to embarrass and KO/TKO.
The rematch might do us all a favour and get rid of Broner permanently. Without the horrendous officiating we had in the first fight, i can only see one outcome and that is Maidana stopping Broner.

You guys are stupid. It's probably in the contract that he HAS to give him a rematch, broner was the champ and it was a voluntary defence i believe. This means there'l be a rematch clause in place. Maidana doesn't have a choice if broner wants it.

No he wouldn't because it's a different situation. It was Broner who gave Maidana the shot, so if he beat him easily he pretty much did what the majority expected him to do as the favorite. A rematch would do him no favors publicly and through the media, people would bash on him claiming he's fighting someone everyone expected him to beat yet again.

No ****, sometimes you have to wonder(aside from the obvious abstinent e-trolls) if people have peanuts for brains. No one needs serious boxing knowledge to realize that a favorite beating someone he was expected to beat yet giving him a rematch would raise serious public negativity. If the underdog won then a rematch would still be very exciting.
