Clearly a teenager if this is your mentality at this level of boxing.

I just watch the fights and stay away from the gossipy side of things, its a bit too lady like, the wife watches soap operas and stuff and it does my head in.

Are you able to explain exactly what the business reasons are for Floyd not making the fight.

There are obvious and clear ways to justify Pacquiao turning down that demand back then. Pacquiao was the #1 P4P fighter and the most talked about boxer at the time, by far and away. Mayweather shows up and slaps him with a demand followed by "He's a cheater" claims and so on. Why in the hell would Pacquiao bow down to that in 2010?, even the media was 100% with Pacquiao for obvious reasons. It's only later when Mayweather slowly applied that demand against others only to see other fighters implement it that made a large portion of the media start to support Mayweather. When it was first requested, it didn't exactly come with flowers and a load of respect, it came with pitiful insults and "He's a cheater, he must test and prove to me he's clean" junk. These are political games Mayweather played and they only played to his favor as time went and as he steamrolled through opponents like Ortiz.

They haven't ridiculed him because he moved up two weight divisions to stun people with his ability to handle the weight and carry serious power and speed in the process.

For pointing out something that is blindingly obvious.

Please humble me with your incredible knowledge of the financial aspects of boxing to explain exactly, from a financial perspective, why this fight isn't happening.

Are you able to do that?

The fight wasnt necessarily going to be promoted by both. And to your point about serious negotiations, no it wasnt serious because there is more in making a fight than that, Pac and Floyd can agree all they want but there's more to be done that phone calls. But lets not act as if Arum was ever serious about making this fight either.

Agreed there was a time when they were working together and it was great for boxing and they should still be working together but tat relationship didnt go sour based on the pac-floyd negotiations alone, problems struck up again before that, this just was the nail in the coffin.

Scar he demanded one thing though, OSDT, which was always in the initial negotiations, confirmed by Roach.

You assume bob wants to make the fight, he doesnt. Floyd's reason are he felt bo was holding him back his whole career and he still owes him millions from the zab and gatti fights. Plus when floyd pushed all that aside Arum wouldnt make the biggest fight of floyds career vs DLH or other big fights such as Hatton and Cotto.

Yeah agreed. His earning potential rests on the holy "0".

If Floyd had lost a couple of fights early in the pro's people wouldn't exactly be tripping over each other to watch him.

Slick move outside the squared circle by Floyd.Kinda like his pot shot and run style inside the ring. He takes pot shot and jabs at Pacquiao and saying **** assassinating his character then runs when it's time to boogey!!

So you're OK with a fighter avoiding his mandatory simply because he doesn't like the mando's promoter? What the ****?

This slick one spent his later career tarnishing Pacquiao's name then when Pacquiao is out

for justice this kid is being cagey about it! I mean i don't think he's scared of Pacquiao.

But he sure is taking his time to fight Pacquiao. Maybe he is waiting to make this fight as profitable as

    possible.

Floyd will come up with a million excuses and his loyal followers on here will defend them all. If Floyd said Broner was the heir to his career with a high punch output and a granite chin his girlfriends on here would agree and argue to the death about it.

So really your explanation is that Floyd is sulking, sour grapes. I'm not sure if there is any evidence or not that Bob stole millions from Floyd, I mean, Is there any proof to back that up at all?

IF indeed Bob did steal millions from Floyd then maybe his actions are understandable. Although why not just carve out some kind of deal to get that money back? I would say Manny taking a smaller cut is a good start.

Arum probably is a piece of trash, unfortunately its par for the course as a boxing promotor, he wont be the worst.

There really isnt Scar, dont do this, please.

It really doesnt matter why pac felt he shouldnt, if you are clean just take the test its really no big deal. I'd say the samething if floyd left negotiations because of the 10mil per pound over weight penalty, it cant be justified. Both sides needed to compromise, floyd accepted what they wanted, Pac and crew didnt return the favor.

The media didnt support it from the outset because of perception and the general hate for floyd. Same way they didnt question Mcgiure or Bonds until their own peers start to throw it out there. Media just knee-jerk reacts to things and get caught up in hysteria of great feats.

The demand wasnt slowly applied Scar, it was there from the beginning, this is confirmed by roach on camera and dan rafael.

And in this day and age when someone does certain things they are put under suspicion/ scrutiny. This is very much so the steroid/PED era in sports.
