first it was blood testing, then it was the purse split, now it's the "bad blood" between arum and himself.:patsch

floyd would drop his balls into a grinder to avoid a fighter who might beat him.

Ask Bob, He is the one that said he doesnt know where floyd will get his guarantee from and he is the one the wouldnt make DLH-Floyd because he would be working for a small percentage. Bob never had any intention of making the fight. Just like Cotto- Floyd.

Agreed, neither were overly serious but Mayweather wasn't shy to openly admit he didn't care when he made that despicable offer and went on an insult spree which forced him to publicly apologize twice and almost be taken to court.

    Fully agree.

He demanded that, venue and more money. At first he started with 50/50 only to add the blood testing followed by "He's a cheater if he doesn't take it". Then later when Pacquiao said he's willing to accept his tests he came up with the $40 million to you and all the rest to me offer.

I do agree that both weren't interested in making it happen but Mayweather just made a clown out of his self in the process. Arum didn't even need to be overly vocal which is a mistake Mayweather made.

More will follow if the public continues to demand it which I doubt since it's clear they all got tired waiting anyway.

You assume he is avoiding Pac, he wouldve done the same if it was bradley, rios etc because of arum.

Plus there isnt any way in hell pac would take the 25%. Nor is pac going to enforce his mandatory status, bob axed that bfore the wbc seen the opportunity for huge fees.

If by "assume" you actually mean mountains/years of evidence. And be honest, you have zero idea what he would have done if Bradley (I must have missed that one, Floyd on points I assume) was with Bob.

OK, so if Pac accepted 25% would you move the goal posts or finally accept Floyd was scared to lose the "0".

    Bob doesnt dispute this.

Bob has more than enough money to have been given floyd back that money, Bob dont give a damn though. They already were in a lawsuit, they didnt separate on good terms.

It was a big deal back then when he was being called out to take these tests followed by "You're a cheater" claims and other cheap insults. Pacquiao bowing down to Mayweather's demands at the time was going to be Pacquiao's biggest mistake ever considering his position. The $10 million per pound penalty can't be compared to the tests really, when was the last time Mayweather failed or struggled to make the weight limit?. With that demand they made it clear that even if Mayweather fails to make the weight they will still move on with the fight though at a serious penalty. They sure as hell weren't going to cancel it with the entire world(literally) counting minutes for fight night.

The media didn't support him because Mayweather didn't exactly make it easy to support him with the clowning he was doing back then. He was insulting Pacquiao publicly, calling him a cheater and even threw in some racial attacks to which he publicly apologized for all.

You must have misunderstood me there Symph, what I meant by slowly applied is that his blood testing first started when he negotiated with Pac. It was only later applied and publicized for the Mosley and other fights that followed which encouraged other fighters to follow suit. That's what I meant by "slowly applied", it was merely a description of his demand being applied publicly before a fight. As it slowly did, that's when the media slowly supported Mayweather's blood testing demand. When he first demanded it he was thrashed for it by the media.

Can't expect to score a mega-fight with the P4P#1 fighter by demanding certain tests to prove you're not a cheater. Pacquiao wasn't going to lower his level, which was higher than Mayweather's at the time, and accept that.

I don't know how much money Arum has but I'm sure he's fairly wealthy.
As for giving Floyd BACK his money, why would he when he maintains Floyd owes HIM money (millions allegedly).

The solution. Make pac take a smaller cut (he will) and claw the lost money back from Bob via his golden goose Manny Pac. Thats even better than getting it from Bob himself.

I still say pac shouldve just called his bluff, that way if it broke down then it would be no debate as to what was going on. But When guys turn down drug test in any sport it is cause for suspicion.

He didnt demand more money , in fact mayweather agreed in priciple to the fight and Arum headed over with the contract to manny in the Philippines

    Proof:

Arum couldnt be vocal because floyd agreed to everything and arum was happy with the cut he was getting.

If bob wasnt involved the fight would happen, just like the cotto fight.

Where is the years of evidence?

Floyd agreed in principle and Bob then took the contract to the philiines for pac to sign and look what happen.
