    you have a good point.

my thing is always: skills = competition.

rigo showed this by beating donaire, imo ranks ahead or equal to corrales (leaning more on ahead, there is no issues at all on donaire, with coorrales there is dehyration and legal issues.)

jst matter of how donaire's carreer plays out the next succeeding years.

This exactly. You're only as good as your opposition. Thats what defines greatness.

Mod, please close this UFC fan post. It obviously knows very little about the sport of boxing.
    LOL, typical Ward-Gatti fan!

Oh please, I don't even like the UFC, I want to see toe to toe fighting not guys pressing up against a fence.

I like boxers, not just brawlers.

At which point did this thread become a debate over skill and/or fighting style?

Please give me the timeframe at which these fights should have take place.

Only fighter you named that would do anything for his resume is Pac.

Floyd didnt gain p4p #1 this year, he's had it for quite sometime and has a way better resume than Rigo. Its not even up for debate.

Yes that's the reason:roll:. Its not like floyd hasnt been champ for over a decade and is currently lineal in 2 at the age of 36. He hasnt earned it at all.

You can critique any fighter's resume, but hype job? That's just ridiculous. You don't beat the fighters he has through hype.

on a serious note, shall we set up a poll?
Mayweather, pacqiauo, cotto, ward, froch, wlad all have better resumes. Hell even Marquez does.

    He's definitely p4p #1.

Not sure where the hype is.

dumbest thread in history, floyd has defeated 22 reigning or former champions in his career, his last 5 fights have been against rated p4p fighters. hes never lost, never been knocked down, holds the lineal championship in 2 weight divisions at an age when 90% of boxers would be considering retiring. stfu dude. you're drunk.
