Look at the common opponents of PAC and may they have similar numbers except for DLH vs Floyd

    Hatton - JMM - Cotto - Mosley

    All had similar numbers

Floyd just scared and so chatting ****

Hell, even PAC vs DLH wasn't a bad sell 1.25 mil obviously half that of May Vs DLH but that was a mega fight and we know who carried that figure mainly was DLH

Can you imagine how bad Pac's fight in China would have been withou Zhou Shiming? Maybe 300K PPV? Isn't Zou Shiming according to Arum a national sports hero?

Exactly, there are many factors which contribute to PPV numbers: undercard, opponents, broadcaster/Network, sponsorships, etc etc etc

Merchant has it right: Mayweather thinks he's better than Pacquiao, and that he'd probably beat Pacquiao, but he doesn't see it as a guarantee. The risk to reward ratio isn't high enough for him to want the fight.

Shame, as it would be the legacy fight for both of them. Neither of them have faced anyone as good as each other.

The other side of the world is where Manny lives! DOH :smh Wlad don't need the USA. Froch don't need the USA. Have you seen what those guys do? They're the Mayweathers of their respective countries.

So your using Froch's PPV numbers from the UK or from US?

Same for Vlad? His number from his base in Germany or elsewhere?

When someone thinks Froch is a bigger draw than pacman, then they chokin on mayweather semen

That wasn't my point. A tuneup in China with a **** undercard against an opponent that doesn't stand a chance will never get similar numbers to what Floyd had.

Honestly, it's not even about numbers. Floyd is scared, and is looking to justify his fear. Manny is washed up and ripe for the taking, yet he is still scared.

Truth of the matter is, Floyd ****ed up big time. Had he fought Pac instead of Pac fighting Marquez for the 4th time, he would have become a living legend in the sport. Now he is a very rich, very crafty coward, with a huge following among people that love fame (US basically). He is popular, like Kardashian, kanye west, bieber and the rest of the celebrities, just for being popular. Once you hit that stage, once your name transcends the sport and becomes a household label, you no longer need to worry about the boxing fan base, because they are in the minority when it comes to ppv buys. Its very good for him but very, very bad for true boxing fans.

Huh? You deny that Froch is a bigger draw in the UK than Pac? You seriously drowning in Pacquiao semen.

My point is Froch does well in his country, Mayweather in his country, Wlad ... People are making excuses why Pac didn't do well in Asia. Why couldn't he when he lives in Asia. You're the ****** who brought up the other side of the world.

Why would Shiming's presence on the undercard affect ppvs in America? Since he's a national sports hero in CHINA!
