87% KO's. Lost a handful of rounds in his whole career, never behind in any fight and never dropped by any fighter. His legacy is that he kicked in the door to East European heavyweights and, with his brother, ended the dominance of black Americans and destroyed any notion that a white hw fighter cannot be a supremely dominant champion. Overall, K2 obliterated the US hw scene and moved the center of hw boxing to Germany. It's a pretty clear legacy.

Silly question. If you don't consider the big brother an ATG great then you should probably give up on the sweet science. The big brother broke the barrier for Slavic dominance. You haven't even seen the second wave yet.

Nope. He quit against Byrd and forfieted the fight - a perfectly legitimate loss - and he had his face ripped apart by several cuts against Lewis - a perfectly legitimate loss. You do him no favours by trying to rewrite the past.

Sorry but the US dominance of the heavyweight scene was ended by Lewis, not Vitali.

He's been "a" champ, not "the" champ. He has never been the undisputed champ, he has never been lineal champ, he only held the Ring title for two fights and only ever won two organizations World titles, never at the same time, and only one of them was considered a legitimate one at the time he held it - the WBO was not considered a legitimate world title back then.
