Kirk Johnson was ranked 8th and Juan Carlos Gomez was ranked 9th by the Ring when Vitali fought them. Herbie Hide was #6 in the Ring Top 10 Heavyweights in 1994. That is the only time he has ever been ranked. Vitali fought Hide in 1999 Danny Williams has never been ranked in the Ring's Top 10 Heavyweights, neither has Solis or Kevin Johnson. Though that is annual rankings, so monthly rankings might be different.
actually Vitali didn't end anything, it was Lennox Lewis who ended American domination when he defeated Tyson and Holyfield. secondly yes Vitali hqs all these amazing statistics but i think you'll find a direct correlation between that and having **** poor competition. Deontay Wilder also has amazing statistics and we all know why
Nobody had ever heard of Charr when Vitali plucked him out of obscurity. He didn't even have a ranking. On top of that he didn't even give him a fair shake. I lost a lot of respect for Vitali after that.
Vitali is a great man both inside and outside the ring: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuSFC8Z75bg
tko2 and KO5, he doesn't have any shameful one punch, lights out losses like that true. :deal he never had to rematch losers like that as a champion, or rely on a crack withdrawal attack to claim back a title. That is godawful. :good
'Lost' on an injury caused by Lewis's dirty boxing in clinches. Was either an NC, a DQ or a TD all to VK.
no it wasn't, Vitali was correctly stopped because Lewis ****ed his face up using his FISTS. if anything Vitali is the dirty one, kicking Lewis when he tried to help Vitali up.
