Solaris what were your biggest losses?

I lost a TON on Groves vs Froch, Maidana Broner and I had Mundine beating Mosley by decision.

My biggest win was having a few grand on Gonzales over Mares by KO. I also won quite a bit on Stiverne over Arreola

I never thought I'd see the day when keyboard ego's can translate into a game of you show me yours....

...an ironic reflection of Broner's ego-mania shown in some odd posts.

    pretty funny though..

At what point did I say 50k was big money? Relatively speaking it's **** all. I've seen people betting that much in a single go and not caring when they've lost. The money I make is miniscule in the grand scheme of things.

As I said in a previous post, the 5.5k month was what I would consider a very good month. Normally take home is around 3k.

In sports betting it'd only be 2k.

Lost around 8k one night playing pit games at the casino. Was annoyed with myself as it is such a dumb thing to do.

    Genius.

The mean average for the country's annual income this year was £29,900 with slightly less that 10% of the nation earning above £50,000.

There's a very famous quote from which the next sentence is taken from.......

""If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy"

Now i'm not saying you're not earning that kind of money however if you're not actually a bit of a walt I suggest you learn some humility and appreciate what you have and what others would do for a portion of your fortune.

Why would you tell people on a form how much you earned how much you were betting, blah de blah de blah c'mon people it's all a load of nonsense like alot of other threads!

Even if it were true...who cares.

Those statistics include the third world which doesn't count for the purposes of this debate.

    Really? He said 'Relatively speaking'.

Relatively speaking thats a hell of a lot of money. Even in this country (which is where the majority of the Brit Forum is typing from, making it even more topical) thats still more than 90% of the country earns ;-)

Has anyone seen that bet floating round on Twitter?

It was a 7 seven fold first goal scorer.

Suarez, Adam, Commons, Ings, Cabaye and Welbeck have all came in.

And he's sweating on Ramsey first goal tonight for half a mill!

At least someone posts there betting slips rather then chat **** :yep
