Just reading up on this now. It seems like Sauerland didn't want Booth doubling up as Price's trainer and manager.

I think it's poor form in respect they've signed Price and now want to go in that direction as they should of done it before they signed him surely (unless they never knew) but really and truly i understand why Sauerland would want Booth away from both.

Booth tends to come across very demanding and possessive over his fighters career direction and Sauerland probably don't fancy arguing over who Price fights next etc.

Price desperately needs a fight at this stage and this won't help. I suspect he'll now find a German trainer and be based out there.

 I would love to see the old German trainer Wegner train Price. Berating him in German and Price standing there baffled and jumping out of ring and running to changing rooms.

Booth is a jack of all trades trainer/manager and business man and he's a master tactician who plays mind games. Promoters and managers used to turn their nose up at Adam because he had this new order style of business, but his record speaks for itself.
Tony on the other hand is old school and he's finally getting the recognition now because of Barker winning the world title and don't forget tony was with Barker all the way so Tony deserves a lot of respect as a trainer and he doesn't have good fighters at his gym for no reason.

Yep Tonys a very good and underrated trainer, someone will no doubt say look at Barker vs Sturm but Barker has admitted he didn't follow any kind of gameplan that was laid out for him.

Be interesting who Price teams up with now.

Rafa Benitez for the caretaker role?
