Hatton may have had more fights than Brook has but he was more active, had been a pro less time and took his title chance when he was offered.

Yeah I meant to say mentality. I only ask because I've never heard or read anything about his lifestyle or mentality. I only know what I've seen inside the ring but cheers for the insight.

i respect Hatton very much but his way to the top was hardly a whose who of famous and world class boxers..in fact im not sure how many boxers better than Carson Jones league that Hatton actually beat on his way to getting a title shot

Brook's stamina is domestic level at best. Porter looked like a complete beast all the way through the Alexander fight. Brook also has a weak chin in my opinion as well. Porter stops him.

:good No probs mate. It's only over the last 18 months i noticed it was bad. I know Kell had a issue with chocolate early on in his career. Supposedly has a real sweet tooth..

I'm not saying Hatton's route to the top was the best but he still stepped up when made mandatory and fought the best while he was champion.

Hatton v Tszyu is the equivalent of a Hatton v Brook fight now....

An old Champ with best days long gone who is inactive hand picked for the new man to take over...

i never quite got the hype of Hatton beating Tszyu

I think with Alexander's lack of power you can afford to look a beast in some ways. Brook's got to prove his new conditioning work will reap the rewards in a fight at world class level. It will be interesting..

Porter makes mistakes such as falling out of position and squaring up in the pocket and trading, He's got some nice skills and variety offensively but i won't go overboard on him as a fighter.

I'm unsure on Brook's chin, If we're talking about the Senchenko shot that buzzed him. It hits the temple which as we know scrambles the system momentarily and what i did like about Brook was the fact he still avoided the follow up punches and then closed the show in the same round. He's not got a granite chin that's for sure but i don't get the fear factor you get when Khan gets hit or Enzo Mac.

It's a really exciting match up. Can't wait to see it..

Tyszu was on a winning streak, had been inactive but was still rated p4p top 5 rightly or wrongly. Poor comparison.

BTW i'm not dismissing Porter as a fighter. He's good but it's winnable for Kell. Stylistically it's a much more open affair then Alexander who i cannot stand.

Spoils, Pitter patter punches etc. Porter is a pure fighter. He comes to bring it and so i hope and believe Brook will. Pick Em' for me..

Honestly I think his chin is just as poor as Amir Khan's. He has world class power and is a decent finisher but that alone isn't enough.

If he can't end it inside four, which I very much doubt he can because I reckon he will already be losing by then, then he will probably end up taking a terrible beating and getting stopped.

I reckon Brook would have a decent chance against Amir Khan just because Khan has a glass chin and is from a lower weight, not a massive puncher and I'd fancy Brook to land.

    Still no formality.

beating ben tackie and sharmba mitchell did not then, and does not now warrant Kosta Tszyu to be rated as a p4p warrior....

    move on with this.

hopefully Brooks chance will finally come although my faith in Hearn is dwindling...i am sure Alexander was made for Brook ,his options seem to be getting tougher

 Cor you think it's that bad?. (not taking the **** btw. Just shocked).

I'd do a Livra and stack some nice money on Brook to smoke Khan's boots i agree i'd fancy him to land on Khan at some point.

Look Tyszu was rated p4p 2 or 3 at that time when Hatton fought him. This was after Hatton had been a pro 7 and 1/2 years. After Hatton had been a pro 9 and 1/2 years like Brook he had already fought Maussa, Collazo, Urango and Castillo as well. Brook is in his prime now and could have in my opinion fought Alexander.
Yeah I really genuinely believe his chin is that bad. You have to remember Brook was all over the place against Carson Jones several times and was badly hurt by Senchenko.

They both have class chins but Brook can punch so I reckon he'd probably win but he is a naturally bigger fighter than Khan in all fairness.

Aye i get what you mean. I think Jones I was a learning curve for him on how to condition himself for a fight. I know he swallowed a lot of blood that night i thought he did well to win some of the latter rounds that night.
