Khan is undefeated and rejuvinated... like Cotto.
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Khan and Floyd are on the same elite level.
    (that's why floyd pick him)

Khan is young hungry lion and a champion. LOL
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Floyd is fighting Khan at his comfortable weight. Khan was draining himself at 140.
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Khan is a PPV Star, and has a huge fan base. (mostly ****stani terrorist)
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Khan has one of the solid chin in boxing.
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Khan is not a serious threat to Floyd precious 0.
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Khan is still in his prime.
    (That's why floyd pick him)

Khan has speed, foot work, and KO power.
    (that's why Floyd pick him)

Floyd is about low risk high reward. Khan fit that profile.
    (that's why floyd pick him)

Khan KO manny in sparring 5 times.
    (that's why floyd pick him)

Khan is more deserving than manny alright... LOL

To me it seems like people don't want Khan to get the opportunity rather than there's a better fight out there. Maidana still looks to be improving, it's in his best interest to wait a little longer before he fights Floyd. Honestly what did Robert Guerrero do to 'earn' a shot at Floyd? He only had ONE fight at WW before Floyd. I'm no supporter of Khan and I think he will be stopped by Floyd but before he lost to Garcia he had done enough to earn a fight with Floyd and he does have something we haven't seen against Floyd in a long time so I have no problem whatsoever with Floyd vs Khan. The only better fight is against Manny and that will happen whenever Floyd gives the go ahead, Khan nor anybody else is stopping that fight from happening.

Hey YinYang do this forum a favor and keep your racist-filled remarks to yourself. Calling someones fanbase "terrorists" is completely uncalled for and makes you sounds like a fukcing idiot of disastrous proportions.

Cool it with that talk, I'm not from that region but I found your comment to be highly offensive.

I don't think khan is deserving of a fight with the P4P king but for other reasons besides what fans Khan has. Truly unbelievable how racist that came off.

It's not only the fact that Khan got KTFo by Garcia, it's also how he did in his fight with a WELL past his prime Julio Diaz. Diaz went to his backyard and gave Khan all he could handle. To me that fight symbolized the beginning of Khan's downward spiral as far as being an elite talent and exposed him for who he is- a guy with pretty good technical ability but he takes WAY too many clean shots and he fights like a moron anytime he gets stunned.

He might make fun fights to watch, but there's at least 6-8 fighters that are above him right now from 140-154 that have a much stronger argument as to why they deserve a fight with Floyd.

I keep seeing the same idiotic posts every day on this forum. Does anyone understand that Floyd Mayweather doesn't do business with Top Rank? I mean, how hard is it to understand that he doesn't like BOb Arum whatsoever, he feels like he wasn't able to progress when he was part of the Top Rank stable and most of the attention in TR was given to the Goldenboy at the time when FLoyd was coming up the rankings.

When was the last time Floyd fought a TR fighter? It's been well over 8 years now. I think people need to understand the business aspect a little more as to the reason why Floyd hasn't fought Pacman, or Bradley or Ruslan or whoever else is in the TR stable.

Now if Floyd wouldn't fight the top fighters in the goldenboy stable I'd be a little cricitical of him. But he's been taking on the best they have to offer and he's wiped the floor with the entire GB stable. He wiped the floor with Mosley right after Shane just demolished the universally recognized WW champ in Margarito. He beat up on JMM when he was a GB fighter and considered the # 2 P4P fighter in the world.

He crapped on Guerrero who at the time was undefeated in close to 8 years and came off a spectacular win over Berto. And Canelo was widely considered a top 7-8 P4P fighter especially after his impressive win over a previously undefeated Trout.

Let's not pretend like Floyd is actually scared of Manny. He's bigger than him, has almost a 6 INCH reach advantage, is a MUCh better technical boxer and his defense is considered by many pugilist as quite possibly the greatest ever (can make a claim for Pep, Whitaker and benitez being in his league defensively.)

I'm a fan of both Pac and FLoyd, and at this point I'd just like to see this fight happen so Floyd can demolish him and I can come back here on ESB and see everyones pathetic excuses as to why manny got manhandled.

I agree 100% People just seem to resent the idea of Khan getting a payday. Some people would like to see Maidana fight Floyd even though Khan beat him. People were mentioning Broner even though he hadn't 'earned' it. If Khan beat some overrated hype job like a Broner or Berto type, he suddenly would have earned the right .
Yeah there are a handful of more deserving fighters from a recent sporting achievement perspective but Khan isn't that bad a match up and as well as a sport, boxing is also entertainment and a business. As far as realistic fights that make sense for Floyd in a risk vs (legacy and financial) reward way, it isn't fight of the century but Khan isn't that bad imo.

Khan is supremely talented; however the guys just lacks elite level durability and concentration. I'm far from a fan of his but I can't deny the skill set and raw ability the guy has he just can't seem to come full circle. I don't think he deserves a shot at Floyd but that's not saying he couldn't beat Floyd he has the tools but I doubt he can put them all together....if he does I'd be shocked. This sport is all about what you've done a shown not how limitless your potential is. In the grand scheme if things this fight is pointless and shouldn't be made, but if it makes dollars then its gonna make sense in Floyd's world.
