    If Cotto beats Sergio??

I think it is, I see no reason why not. June 7th is a good 3 months away from Septemeber.

Other options would be like Garcia, but take on him or let him build more for 2015 and fight Cotto for the MW Title and History. I would get tickets to that for sure. That would be his biggest option.

So what will the haters say?? A Cherry Pick right? Well If Cotto beats Martinez he would've have earned the legitimate MW Title.

I had the first fight 8-4 i think but Cotto fought very well and actually fought better then anybody since Castillo. First time i seen Floyd bleed for years!! Maybe Floyd SR mad his defense a little better since then but Roach probably maybe Cotto a little bit better and back to the machine he once was.

Obviously ths thread means crap if Cotto loses but at least im getting a head start to all the threads on June 8th saying they dont want to see the fight.

Has anybody had 3 lineal titles at the same time??

Is it a lock for Septemeber if Cotto wins??? :bbb:bbb

If Cotto wins? I could definitely see that. Floyd probably doesn't want to take on a big middle, but if Cotto was the man (at least the lineal man) then the fight makes a lot of sense.

you beat the man already, why do you want to go up two divisions too do it again? Besides, who is any position to dictate to floyd! Your ability to think coherently defies belief.

U got up 2 divisions to become MW Champ and lineal champ in 3 divisions!!! Thats why!! Why kinda of questions was that?? :patsch:patsch

Theres nothing else he can do to make his legacy better, not even beating Pacquiao compares too holding 3 lineal titles and MW Champ from 130

It wouldn't be for the real MW title even though it's lineal. Sergio is ducking 3G.

A title is only worth who it's coming from. If Cotto manages to defeat Sergio(highly unlikely), it would mean Sergio's finished completely and then Mayweather getting the title beating a guy he's already beaten anyway means little.

Now if Floyd himself picked it up off of a healthy Sergio or 3G, then that's a legit MW championship. However, he wouldn't take that risk. Why would he? I call him a safety first ducker, but even I wouldn't suggest a Welterweight face someone like 3G.

Good job Martinez pounds Cotto into oblivion, we'll see if Gayweather wants to move up then & fight the man!
