I like him but I don't think so. It's by no means an outrageous claim but I don't see it.

yes. he went above in beyond in having a top notch resume and giving the fans what they wanted.

he might not be as amazing as fighters of old but under todays system he has a top 5 resume.

Over rated quality of opponents, over rated ability got a few gifts. No definitely not in my opinion, not on merit anyway.

He's good to watch and brave fighter but no I don't think so. Although he deserves a place more than Gatti, who got in.

Wins over Pascal, Bute, Dirrell, Kessler, Johnson and Abraham make for a pretty impressive resume. The man's a HOFer alright.

    It's very simple.
If people reckon he was at the very top of his division for a sizeable time, he gets in.

And, i reckon he was never the top man , a little notch under.

Semi blind Kessler beat him decisively, then gave him hell in the rematch.
    A gift vs Dirrell.
Abraham and Bute were good wins, but turns out both were overrated.
    Pascal is his best win.

    :good

Limited - though under rated- skills

But guy is one of the toughest SOBs to ever step foot in a boxing ring

And one of the most exciting

And one of the most fearless - "Ward thinks you're too good to risk a fight with? - ill take you on then Lucian"

His resume reads like a who's who of his generation

Calzaghe would have whooped him, but Carl would have put himself through hell to try and win
