Battle for 140 lb supremacy. Who wins this one and why ? I actually think this is a good matchup. Not a complete contrast of styles, but pretty close.

    Merry Christmas boys and girls.

Garcia, and probably in a fairly one-sided manner. He's proficient enough both inside and outside that Ricky doesn't have much hope. I see that counter left hook stopping Ricky mid-to-late rounds.

Good assessment. Definitely a possible outcome.

Not many at 140 can take Ricky in his pomp, Garcia isn't one of them for me who can.

Hatton, and pretty easy. Work rate and close in fighting although if Hatton gasses a chance for Garcia to pummel the fat bastart.

Hatton would try his best to maul Danny.

But Danny would stand in the pocket with his iron chin and detonate left hook bombs, and Hatton would run straight onto one of them and it'd be all over.

Garcia would knock him out cold. Hattons style is made to order. You can't walk down a swift counter puncher like Danny.

Garcia couldn't take care of an old Zab Judah.... please... do not label Garcia on Hatton's level at this point....

Prime Hatton at 140 was a maniac.... Garcia still hasn't proven absolutely anything... he is still a young pup in this game and he will have his day and when he does... THEN we can compare... but right now... Hatton hands down...

I think hes proved a lot. He cleaned out 140. And has a VERY impressive Victory over Lucas. I cant really say who would win but I think they are around the same level and in the end I believe Danny will end up being the better fighter.

Not sure how well the counter left hook would do against Hatton. His hit and hold tactic would neutralise it in my opinion.

Hatton would grind him down. Ricky is one of the GOAT @ 140.

I think Danny edges it due to his under rated boxin ability , was a massive Hatton fan myself but I think Danny is improving with each fight and has a really bright future

Garcia has too good a jab. Hatton makes it ugly (surprise) and takes a few close rounds... But Danny stops him late.

Catches Hatton walking in. KO late.
