has not been truly tested yet.

Rigondeaux, GG, Russell Jr, Wilder, Kovalev, Santa Cruz, Thurman, Roman Gonzalez, Garcia, and a few others have not been in fights where the other guy didn't take no for an answer.

    Their time is coming.

All potential great champions go through this trial early and pass.

    Broner failed miserably.

While all of the above look to have the goods talent wise, none were punched in the mouth for 12 rounds yet and won. You can talk about how you think this or that guy will do, but until it happens, I guess you can brag about the fighter that you like, lmao.

Who do you think is the next fighter to lose?

Rigo was tested big time by Donaire who was top 5 p4p. Garcia how is beating Matthysse not a test most thought Lucas would win. GG he was schooling Froch who was rated 2nd SMW. Kovalev destroyed Cleverly and wants Stevenson next, Thurman is still only on the verge of world honors and to his credit he hasn't a padded record he has some very impressive wins on his ledger. Stupid thread really only Wilder and Russell JR have not been tested Wilder has been a disgrace with his resume.

Problem is with someone like rigo though that no one is going to be good enough to put him in a situation like broner an maidana, so we can't judge someone like him like that. Donaire was rigos big test, just because he schooled him doesn't change the fact that he was the equivalent (and more) to maidana for broner, difference is that rigo passed his test with flying colours. Rigo will probably never face real adversity where he has to show will power and heart etc because he's simply so much better than everyone else.

If you think he failed miserably you do not understand boxing or any form of fighting for that matter. Broner showed heart, durability and discipline. He made me a fan in that loss.

Rigo has been sorely tested, and passed with flying colours

GG has been slightly tested but nobody big wants to fight him, little reward for a big risk, it's called the "who needs him" club

Kovalev only has one good win IMO and that is Cleverly (Campillo was very ill prepared for that fight)

Santa Cruz has a good resume, but I would like to see him against Frampton, that would be a fantastic fight, both guys are calling eachother out, but with the politics and desire to protect that 0, we probably won't see it any time soon

Wilders resume is pathetic, he is the most protected fighter in a LOOOOOONG time, hasn't faced one test in 5 years and 30 fights, he's a con designed to get the casuals hyped about an American heavyweight

Garcia as in Danny Garcia? He has been tested, and he came up the hardest way

Rigo has been thoroughly tested. As has Garcia. GGG and KOvalev are begging for the next best fighter in their divisions. Both are being ducked.

Broner had ppl lining up to fight him. Hell, Wilder can even be called a hype job in comparison to Broner.

This thread is a huge failure.:rofl

Yep. With Kovalev being a close second.

BUT, the good thing with these two... They will fight anyone for free.
