    Sorry, I don't see where I've posted a theory. The most likely explanation is the simplest; in the world outside of Machiavellian conspiracies, people are best served slicing with Occam. Why search for convoluted rationales when the most elegant answer will serve? We all share in laughing at paranoid individuals posting crazy ideas on tinfoil-hat forums, and yet it happens here on ESB daily. That is hypocrisy.

    Wish leonard, hearns, and Hagler sees this. This is the joke boxing has become. fighters not wanting to actually fight in a ring, but on a key board. Bunch of effin pusies what a joke.

    Agreed but one side does want to fight, the problem has always been the chicken Mayweather side always coming out with excuses and slurs.

    As talented as Mayweather is and even the biggest star in boxing, he's also everything that's wrong with boxing too.

    If anything, SRL, was the prototype for Mayweather. SRL went into retirement rather than face Hagler in his prime. Once Hagler was softened up by Barkeley Leonard unretired to fight him. And remember SRL was younger than Hagler. I remember how we used to talk about SRL ducking Hagler back in the day. What about catchweights? Lalonde v SRL. Everyone forgets.

    Nobody cares about the opinion of forum warriors, much less their opinion 20 years from now. People will only remember Floyd's greatness.

    Yes he beat haggler

    But that version of haggler would have lost to anyone half decent

    Leonard is much better than may weather because of his wins against durian and hearns
