Pacquiao started it by signing with Golden Boy Promotions, then 2 monthes later signing with Top Rank. ODLH sued Top Rank over royalty payments for 3 of Pacs fights.

My friend, you already know that what I've posted is true. The fact that you attack the messenger should be significant, stop a moment to think about it. I've not surmised in this thread as to why Floyd behaves as he does, but rather give my impression that he's a weirdo, which is due to his off-kilter and contradictory statements and actions over the years. If you don't see insecurity in his speech and body language you're a very poor judge of character. As to why, I've posted elsewhere on ESB what I think but not in this thread. So, no theory on Floyd here!

The meat of my initial post is that the General has been plagued by so much tortured logic by fans of Floyd and Manny as to why this and why that, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Its like people get hold of a soap opera script and fill in the namespaces with either Floyd or Manny. The atmosphere at times is like reading posters on Alex Jones' blather about the NWO and ****. Sure there's a big hype machine in boxing, but Floyd in person and up close sure doesn't stay on message with that, does he? As dumb as people make Pac out to be, he hasn't rolled out one tenth as much of this since the talk started in 2009; my supposition is that he knows how **** will stick to him on the Congressman side of things so he puts it all on Arum.

Most people don't give two shits about possible backroom politics in boxing. They do see what the boxers themselves say, their body language and how they behave, and give a human impression based on direct observation. If Floyd were as calculating a campaigner as some here think, he's pursuing an odd strategy: not giving an impression of strength and disdain for the inferior Pacquiao, but an impression of spite and irrational evasiveness. What purpose does this serve?

Eh. The world remembers srl because he found the cajones to fight the man. Until then floyd, people will call their pet duck in your honor and will be known 20 years from now as the man who first contracted mannyphobia.

:lol:Homie, there you go again, trying to put sugar on ****. I never objected to your opinion on Floyds behavior because I understand that its only an opinion and I respect your right to have one. However, I was prompted by your use of the word theory as a negative when applied to other posters comments or opinions when you yourself is operating under the same premise. Is Floyd that calculating? Maybe or maybe not but the point is that posters have the right to theorize that it's true as well as you have the right to theorize that it's not.

This is being overanalyzed as usual. Who cares why Floyd is tweeting about Pac? If Pac was so above this type of behavior he wouldn't have tweeted back with his version. Both were comical...just enjoy the show. It's really just good marketing for both guys.
