No one will put Klitchkos in same sentence as joke Ottke, by doing that you are clearly disrespecting them. I can look at Wlads fight anymore i guess as he got older he has more stamina problems so he overcomes that with clinching and by that lowering his punch output, Vitali on the other hand i like to watch he enjoys fighting and isnt safety first afraid of getting hit kind of fighter, but one thing is sure they are far far greater than joke Ottke:tired
It has to do with where they're from and the color of their skin. Ever notice most of the Klitschkos' haters tend to like only black boxers?
Watch Dariusz Michalczewski vs. Richard Hall and tell me that wasn't good to watch. Michalczewski and Vitali always were crowd pleasers. I don't know why you'd mix them in with Ottke.
Vitali was a laughing stock for faking a shoulder injury to quit against Bryd but after the Lewis fight he redeemed himself a bit and was actually quite popular and seen as good to watch, but then he retired to duck Rahaman and when he came back he has not been as exiting. Wlad is a boring safety first fighter who has to cheat and foul his way to victory with the help of his paid off refs against terrible fighters who he usually has a big size advantage over. Despite this he has still been beaten by journeymen and low level guys.
michalczewski, like ottke, was a product of german 'stay at home' policy with the klitschko's, the US networks gave them a lukewarm response and its caused a shift in the HW division away from the US
Wlad got slammed by the German press for his fight with Povetkin. Even Germans are getting tired of him. Two German posters on here who were Wlad defenders defend him no more. You will have to find a different excuse. If you believe race is to blame , it is probably because you are racist yourself because the colour of Wlads skin is the least of his problems.
'The Klitschko's ' are not one person. They are vastly different and should be refereed to as two separate people. Vitali will be remembered as a real fighter who brought heart and passion to the ring. Wlad will be remembered as a disgraceful cheater with a bogus title reign that started by beating a shot to **** blown up middleweight.
