    cant handle the truth eh?

remove ppv discussion and floyd has really nothing. think about it.

id put dela hoya over floyd anytime.

my thing is, losing in a competitive fight beats not fighting.

He was not even the fighter of the decade (2000-2010). How can he become all time great when he avoided the fighter of the decade?

Look being undefeated is not what makes you a GOAT, the best in this sport have always faced adversity and tasted defeat :hey
I like Floyd but would sure like for him to put this PAC thing to bed soon.:?

I enjoy watching Floyd box as he is a perfect example of perfection inside the ring. There is nobody from 140 to 154 that can push him out of his comfort zone today.

Silly question. Of course not. How can a guy who didn't fight his main rival of his generation be called the GOAT? Why do ATGs like Hagler, Tyson, Holyfield, and Holmes, etc all say he ducked Pac? Because they relate more with Pac's willingness to take on all comers over Floyd.

Truth. He allowed a foreigner to come into his own country and steal all the accolades and respect of the boxing community (BWAA boxer of the decade). Pretty funny when you think about it.

So using skills to beat inferior competition means you don't have skills? I don't get it.

I think Floyd Mayweather Jr is the best fighter of the last 20 years in boxing. He can do anything in the ring and has some quality names on his undefeated resume. However he will never be the GOAT in my eyes, where the likes of Armstrong, Duran, Robinson, Greb, Pep, Ali, Jack Johnson etc would all be higher than him in the all time greatest boxers list. This is mainly due to the number of fights, quality opponents and extra rounds they endured. They were also champions in tougher divisions where most fighters had to earn the right for a title shot.
