Yeah, I think Cotto could beat Canelo so if he did then fought Martinez would make perfect sense but Martinez doesnt have long left

Martinez will stop him then Cotto will have a tune up then fight Canelo then retire win or lose I think

Yes, buddy...you most definitely picked the wrong word to describe your week point. This is a smart moved for the Cotto team, as mentioned earlier. If he's able to beat Martinez and look good doing so, this will put him back on the table for better fights and "yes", money.

If he beats Martinez no one will say he beat a prime Martinez but it would still be a good win

Martinez wasn't worth much (moneywise) until the second Williams fight. Cotto has fought everybody worth fighting. Whoever can't see that should be ban for life

Martinez isn't fighting a prime Cotto either. But MArtinez is still a bigger man than Cotto

If Cotto fight Canelo and lose, a fight with Martinez will not produce good money. If he loses against Martinez, who is holding the belt that Cotto wants, a fight against Canelo will still be good business. Mexico Vs. Puerto Rico fights always sell well

Losing credibility calling a pro fighter like Cotto a coward.
