I agree with you to a extent, it was a great 4 fights. Keep in mind Pac was the star in all 4 fights, JMM chased up in ranks after the first fight & not only did he have to come up in weight to meet pacs demands but he also had to wait about 4 years between fights before he got the 2nd & 3rd fight.

First 2 fights were very close, rematches should not have taken 4 years inbetween & the 3rd fight I feel (and so do many) that JMM should of got the nod, I believe out of first 3 fights the 3rd was most clear win up until the ko, there for a rematch is within question.

JMM is 41 & was contiplating retirement prior to the 3rd pac fight, he is just a former shadow of himself now & needs to retire, I dont even believe he should still be fighting, the guy is a natrual feather weight, 41 fighting at 147 & past his prime, we cant really fault him for not fighting pac a 5th time. Its not like JMM was dominated the first 3 fights, you can argue each fight for who ever you want but point is that you could make argumets for first 3 fights so rematches were in order, you can not make a argument about the 4th, the book ended on the 4th fight. There is no doubt who won the 4th & ultimatley thats what both camps wanted to end, the fight was called once & 4 all. Im sure if the shoe was on the other foot & JMM was outboxing pac & then got KOd there would have been no demand for a 5th fight.

Because it would be 3 - 0 - 1 in favor of Pacquiao.

If he retires theres no argument BUT Marquez is still mad & crying out for that Bradley rematch for some reason.

If he decides to continue fighting then he owes Pacquiao the rematch as Pacquiao gave him 3 rematches when he really didnt have to.

So JMM knocked out Pac in brutal fashion, so why should there be a rematch? simply so Pac can avenge his loss? :huh

By your logic if JMM had been outboxing Pac but got KO'd then there would be no need for a rematch,...yet same thing happend to Pac yet you guys are :|

    Interesting:think

Pac didint really "Give" him the rematches, Rematches are earned. You earn a rematch in a close fight or if people feel you were robbed. You dont earn a rematch by being knocked out. If pac had KOd JMM would you want a rematch if JMM had been doing good prior to the KO? of course not so why cry now.

JMM is a bitter looser its not suprise he is crying robbery, Im not disputing that but does not owe Pac anything any more. Had it been a close fight I would be wanting a rematch aswell but Pac got ko'd.

Hmm, if I recall correctly JMM knocked Manny down earlier in the fight and had him very hurt there too, but I guess he was just lucky twice in the fight. Come to think about it, it was about time JMM was lucky considering how lucky Pac has been with the scores in their previous fights...

Do you know how to read ?

If Pac KO'd Marquez the score would be 3 wins , zero defeat and 1 draw in favor of Pacquiao. Who do you think will watch the 5th fight ?:patsch

I'd agree with you if Marquez dominated the fight & put a beating on Pacquiao before brutally finishing him off, there'd be no arguments.

He still won fair & square theres no denying that..

However Pacquiao was winning the fight, Marquez started well but Pacquiao completely took over & beat Marquez up, knocked him down & was ready for the finish, thats why the finish was so shocking.

Thats why Pacquiao deserves a rematch, he was finally on his way to a clear cut victory until that one punch changed everything.

    :deal

Hit the nail right on the head.

Had PEDquiao KO'ed Marquez - NONE of the *******s would want to see a 5th fight.

Marquez should fight the Bradley rematch then retire win or lose...
