We haven't had one guy who can throw a proper right hand.

Goes to show this division has gone in the gutter, nobody cares for it anymore. :smoke
Get Magomedrasul in there and he'd do a job on Wladimir, I am sure of it.

    Why?

There are great competitive divisions south of 205+

Should I give up on the sport when there are great boxers active?:patsch:lol:

So you think that only the heavyweight division lacks someone capable of throwing a right hand? That's pretty mental.

    EXACTLY!

The HW division has been held hostage by cheats and Russian mob, but the lower divisions have all the skills and great competition. :bbb

Because he doesn't land clean on Wlad that's why Wlad leans on him jabs him to death ect as he has done with so many. Stop with the comparision of Wlad to Carnera Wlad is about 3 times better Carnera was a bum the worst Heavyweight champion of all time he has Wlad's size but the comparison ends there.

Imagine how much leverage TWO TON had. I've been to a lot of boxing gyms and by far, the hardest puncher, was a guy that fit that description. If you got hit with his overhand right, or the left hook, the punch that knocked Louis down, you weren't getting up.

That punch was so hard, the windows damn near shook when he landed it on the bags.

Buddy Baer used the lean on tactic and got the **** beat outta him.

So how is Wlad going to do it when Wlad will go down without even being hit by a clean punch?

stop slagging off undisputed HW champions when Wlad has yet to become so.

moreover there is no need to slate hw champions, carnera was a good champ who was unlucky enough to face a prime killer when he lost his title.

He didn't jab Haye into submission, though. He fought a safety first fight all night because Haye has real power. The difference is Louis wouldn't be content to let Vlad have an easy night like Haye did. He would look for openings and eventually find one. Louis proved he could hurt bigger men like Baer and Carnera and Simon.

Granted, Vlad has better footwork, so he has a chance to keep Louis at a distance. I don't think he has the courage to try and knock Louis out, though. So, I can see (being generous) Vlad winning a borefest, but if it became a fight, Louis would win by late kayo. I don't buy the "bigger is better argument" at all. The bigger heavyweights are usually less mobile, and that negates the strength advantage somewhat.

Joe Louis had real strengh and power! Louis worked on ice trucks before turning pro. He also picked up and carried Primo C. once during that fight and he was bigger and stronger than Wlad.Louis right hand would have did Wlad in before round 5.
