Great videos! The cameraman really captured Mickey Walker's excellent footwork and balance both of which are critical to a boxer's fight plan.

I'm planning on watching more of those old gems.

Louis thanks for showing these old clips of Jack Sharkey training for his second bout with the Italian Goliath Primo Carnera, in which the temperamental Sharkey was suspiciously stopped in the 6th round....
And the tall blonde fighter speaking with Jack Sharkey in the film was the
terrific but ill-fated Ernie Schaff who died in the ring after being stopped by
Primo Carnera a short while later....Sad to see Ernie Schaff in this clip...
Such is fate ! The next guy training was the great but forgotten Jimmy
McLarnin who was a helluva welterweight...I love these old training
films of the 30s and 1940s....Bring them on.....

I mentioned Mickey Walker in a thread that got removed yesterday for some reason , i have enjoyed reading and watching parts of Mickeys career for years now and apart from Wilde he is my favourite fighter of days long gone , his effort fighting Max Schmelling was one of the bravest attempts by a smaller guy v a heavy that i ever saw , thanks for sharing Louis 54.
