Could Deontay Wilder's chin be considered a disability?

I was thinking this guy should not be in there boxing. He has been WOBBLED by a JAB in his last fight. He needs to hang them up before he gets hurt. I seriously am concerned for this young man's well being.

If I worked at his DMV in his state I would not issue him a drivers license, I really think this guy could be driving along hit a pothole on the road and get KTFO behind the wheel, endangering himself and others. His chin is seriously that bad.

That being said if I were a boxing commissioner I certainly would not let him fight!

What is the scientific name of the condition of having a glass jaw?

Like Gigantism is scientifically know as Acromegaly and the Swine flu is the H1N1 strain of influenza. Id like to do some research on the cause of glass chins. Is having a glass chin hereditary, does diet effect it, could it be a neurological disease or disorder?

 

No such thing as glass chin, people are not supposed to be able to take direct hits there and keep standing. It's like an on/off switch, some people just have a jammed one that you need to hammer before it finally goes off (Vitali Klitschko for instance).

 

No, that is not true sadly I suffer from the obscure, not well documented or researched condition know as having a glass jaw. I would have an undefeated record in street fights, if it wasn't for having a weak punch resistance. I had better talent against all of my opponents, but I lost a few from them landing one lucky punch and gettin taken out.

FFS god damn it am I gonna have to do the scientific research on me own like Bruce Banner or Mr. Freeze to try and find the cause, reason, or cure myself?

 

I'm willing to help you man. I truly believe this is what might be happening:

Inside the jaw there are nerves. Some of these nerves carry messages to the limbs. When a fighter gets hit on the chin, this nerve can sometimes be "pinched" causing the signal to be disrupted. I think it is somewhat like when you hit your "funnybone" and get that fizzy feeling where your fingers/arm become weak... Just think of it as that but much closer to the source. As I think a lot of body functions probably run through that area...

It is interesting though, not much research on the subject.

He may not have a great chin but lets not forget how shitty Wlads chin is. Has Wilder ever been knocked down and not get up?? Wlad got knockdown by the likes of Ross Purity, Steve Pannell and TOS. I think a lot of you stormfront guys are hoping his chin is that bad. I'm noot all that sold of Wilder either but most of you like farmboxer bash him in every damn post. Trust me I'm known farmboxer for years and he only bashes black fighters that he fears will beat one of his white heros. I would much rather see Wlad fight Wilder than the bum he will fight next.

Wilder looked like a drunk while sparring with Haye.

Vlad knocked Wilder down with a jab while sparring for the Wach fight, plus Vlad kicked Wilder's arse from one side of the ring to the other! Wilder only weighs 223-225 lbs. at best. How can anyone know how hard he punches? Should Wilder rematch Sconiers?

I have another opinion, man.
The brain is surronded by envelopes containing a fluid; the function is exactly to isolate brain from violent vibrations; some may have a very thick layer of envelopes, someone else a thin one.
Also the weight of the head helps. Because it is more difficult to accelerate it.
Valuev, for example, had a head double the size of a normal person, and in fact his chin was very good. You could break your hand on it, but he didn't went out.
Haye broke his right hand on Valuev's head, and yet it wasn't even a knockout. He wobbled for a couple seconds, and then he returned to march forward chasing the chicken.
Head size helps, but it's more an internal structure thing.
There have been boxers with huge heads, but weak chins, and small heads but iron chins.
Maybe it's also a matter of internal blood pression.
Or of oxygen percentage in the blood.
When a fighter is gasses, exaust, his chin becomes weaker.

 

Fury got hit like 20 times more than Wilder. In fact, no clear power punch was landed on Wilder. Also Fury is 5 years younger, his chin is not totally developed yet.
