Froch has paid his dues and is probably near the end of the road, he won that night agreed or not

he can walk on to a bigger fight and Id rather him fight a bigger fight

in reality Groves was hurt, the ref may have been early but it appeared to me Froch was getting to him and hurting him more and more and Groves was having less success. Not trying to justify the bad call but I just didnt see it as badly as others then again i didnt see it live with all the suspense and spur of the moment emotion

As far as I recall Froch stopped Groves. You can't win any more decicive. Groves won a razor thin MD against DeGale that could have gone one way or the other.

Froch can do whatever he wants. It may be way better for his legacy to rematch Ward (and win) than to rematch Groves (whose record is mediocre at best) whom he already stopped.

Thats then, the guy who is all about "legacy" will be known as the warrior who wilted against a UK rival and if a fresh "greenish" groves could have done what he did to himm imagin e what Calz would have done? He does deserve to fight more for money now than before, only that the Groves fight is probably one of the biggest money fights he could make right now, it would be in a massive arena/stadium and PPV!

Well, there is a slow-mo version of the stoppage which makes the stoppage actually worse

Two wrongs doesn't make one right! Groves should have give Degale a rematch back then. Froch should definitely this time.

The first one was exciting. The second one might be epic. A great match up, two british fighting each other for a world title after after a controversial fight between the two. The fans want it, they want it more then boring ward agaisnt Froch again.

stfu froch. we know you want the easiest opponent for the most money. no shame in it. you paid your dues. besides, if groves beat you, you'd never get any sleep during retirement.

I just youtubed it again to see the stop and Froch has him on the ropes lands a right hand Groves misses a few then Froch lands again and Groves left leg comes staggers and he falls forward and into the ref

he may not have been "out" but he was getting hit and he didnt have the best body language, if he hadnt staggered forward it may not have been stopped

i mean was it could have been allowed to go on but Froch was continuing to pour on the barrage and Groves was getting hit cleanly and his head was being moved by the shots, to me it seemed like a matter of time

The thing is I agree about the body language and it makes it worse than it is, correct me if I'm wrong but a few times groves, when the action was stopped, presented himself in a sloppy manner almost flip floppy at times so I'm thinkin fit could have been his demeanour or he was fcuked

Froch's victory over Groves was anything but decisive.

As far as I'm concerned if there's no rematch the fight should be regarded as a technical decision win for Groves. It's outrageous the ring has Froch on the P4P top ten after this ****.

Haha what a lil ***** Carl Froch is.

He needs to realise that his "win" over Groves was much more controversial.

Groves beat Degale on points, Froch beat Groves after a controversial call from the referee which outraged fans and pundits all over the world, very different scenarios

Also Groves and Degale fought as prospects, everybody knows the rematch is going to happen down the line now they are both at world level.

Joe Calzaghe for me best Reid fair and square, however the rematch would've been well worth it and should've happened, that rematch not happening should be used as an excuse by Froch.

Well I dont think there was a demand for DeGale rematch from the public. People saw it as a legit win. This fight is completly different. People see Groves as the real winner here and its funny that Froch is making demands here. He can keep his title and fight some farewell fight as he looks past it already, while Groves is the one talked about and might possibly get the Ward fight now.
