R1- Eubank R2 - Benn R3 - Eubank R4 - Benn R5 - Eubank R6 - Even R7 - Even R8 - Benn R9 - Benn R10 - Benn R11 - Eubank R12 - Benn Benn -1 for low blows. Benn wins by 1pt on my card. Benn's defensive elusions, uppercuts to the body and leaping head shots in that fight were highly impressive. Eubank was reduced to throwing inaccurate shoeshiners and falling in to clinch.
Eubank clearly had the faster hands and sharper combinations but Benn's unexpected patience and balance that night looked to have toppled him. Benn ducked, slipped and weaved his way through the onslaughts. It was good.

It's interesting to reflect that the fighter generally regarded to be the worst of the bunch (Collins) fared the best in their round-robin "tournament." He went 4-0. Benn had not much luck at all going 0-4-1, though he's regarded as the biggest fan favorite of all of them.
This is a lot better discussion than I thought it would be.Im going to try to watch this fight again because I was at Bramall Lane that afternoon and don't remember a headbutt.Thought Graham was slightly ahead at the time. But Holmes was a hell of a fighter, and a replacement. He knocked out Roy Gumbs, very dangerous man,but was beat by Dwight Davison, who Tony Sibson beat. Regarding Benn and Eubank, they were world class,no doubt.I think McCallum and Toney,of their contemporaries would beat them both, but they'd have a chance with the others. No disrespect to Barker,Macklin and Murray, who are all terrific boxers, but just try and compare them to those two,or Graham for that matter.Regarding Jones, although not quite a contemporary,if he hadn't carried on too long, wed all be saying he was the best of the lot,I think.
PS.Left Collins out because he's not British. But I tipped him to beat Eubank both times and thought he was a fair winner twice.Up there with the best, though I think Benn had gone past it by the time they fought.
With all due respect that might well have been the case at the slow pace Eubank liked to fight at, but I don't recall too many " world champions " that loaded up on punches and ended up doing a Shannon Briggs, by missing so badly they landed on the canvas themselves. I mean guys didn't need to hit Eubank, just side step his haymakers, and the fool ended up on his hands and knees. That is just embarrassing. You could just imagine all the Yanks laughing at the fool.
Once is too many times, and there were plenty of instances of him missing and ending up looking like Bambi on ice. Definitely the least credible " world champion " Britain has ever produced. I found him far more interesting when he dressed up in silly clothes and drove around in his truck.
Next you'll be telling us that the 10 fights for 10 million World Tour Sky Deal was genuine too. Even though with the exception of 1 fight it was actually a tour of Britain and Ireland. Leave off. Credible? My arse.
