Pac for me, way way deeper resume.
Having a 0 does not mean much when you go inactive and avoid fighters.

how does he have to eat multiple times a day to make weight if he's been coming in at 147 since fighting at 135? That doesnt make sense.

    Wow, you are a jackass.

I normally detest using insults and try to avoid knee-jerk reactions, but trying to gauge public opinion and then going on to dismiss it when it does not confirm your beliefs or suppositions is just asinine.

Take a few minutes and carefully evaluate yourself.

Very Very close. Hard to argue against either but I lean Mayweather.

IMO Mayweather is the best boxer i seen in my lifetime (im 27) RJJ was very close talent wise but didnt finish career on a good note. Champ at 21, plenty of weight classes, plenty of titles, took all fights ( I know Pac fight is not there but its not on Pac's resume either) beat lots of HOFmers and to this day is still in top form, never lost and his lineal champ in 2 weight classes.

Pac is 8 time champ in 8 weight classes....MY GOODNESS!! beat lots of HOfmers also, i mean what is there not to like. 1 reason i lean Mayweather a little more is because Floyd is just a better boxer, u cant argue that and that has to go when you comparing ATG's not just resume, and after DLH pac's resume is not very good. Hatton wa champ at 140 so thats cool, Clottey... i guess a decent win but could've fought Mosley for lineal title and didnt. Cotto is a decent win but off the bricks. Maargarito a cheater so i dont know how much stock in that and it was 150, Mosley after Mayweather beat him and a draw against Mora, losses against Bradley and JMM and Rios.

Hella close but i'll go with Mayweather

My life is better than yours.

Im not trying to guage public opinion, neither am i dismissing it. Im not that invested into the boxing world. In my mind your are all just some no faces on a f------g boxing forum. Thats it. So believe me, I'm not taking this seriously, or getting into this world of "*****s" and "*******s". I just dont know any pundits or historians who have Pac rated higher than Floyd. Calm down, *****.

Blackbolt, I am not sure what your obsession with their records at 154 has to do with anything. Are you trying to compare who is the greater LMW? If you are basing an overall/p4p ATG argument based upon one arbitrarily picked weight class, I frankly do not know what to tell you as I have no idea what semblance of logic you would be trying to utilize.

On that note, I consider the Margarito that Pacquiao beat at LMW to be superior to the versions of Alvarez and Cotto that Floyd fought at LMW. Slightly so with the former, significantly so with the latter. For Oscar, I can see arguments either way. A green Alvarez who has as of yet unproven himself (but may go on to do good things) is not a respectable quantity. A small, shopworn, out-of-his-weightclass Cotto who should have been challenged at 147, well... I think you can guess my opinion on the matter.

floyd didn't prove it against fighters that mattered or when they mattered.

....with the namrs you mentioned, it seems that you only heard of pacquiao after dlh.

OH PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. LMAOOO. You guys have an excuse for everything. Fact is that Pac's fight night weight while fighting at 135, is the same as Floyds fight night weight fighting at 154. Period.

didnt prove it against fighters when it mattered?? That makes no sense :patsch

U can elaborate if u choose too but your gonna sound dumb

I been watching Pacquiao forever. if u read my post i said after DLH is not very good while Mayweather has still fought top fighters and just fought the top guy at JMW for lineal title.

I saw Pac destroy barerra, awesome fights with Morales and Marquez, i've been a fan for a long time bro, hes one of the ATG's

Which is why all this 8 division **** is a farce. 5 divisions, while being routinely outweighed because you're fighting at your walk around weight is more impressive than 8 divisions when you're cutting weight to get there. Its not like he was being outweighed in those divisions. he started being outweighed when he moved to 147. Which makes his catchweights even more inexcusable. If you're coming in at 147 fighting at 135, why do you need catchweights for Oscar, Cotto and requested 142 for Mosley? it doesnt make sense.

He's fighting at 135, and Floyds fighting at 154. Both have fight night weigh ins around 150.

    No excuse for Pac.
