Comments like these are always funny to me in these debates everyone has there opinion and what's you think is what you think regardless if people agree or not but.

Castillo has a better resume than Marquez and if you consider the first Mayweather fight a JLC win then he has a better top win then all three and a deep resume as well that says he's on that level

This last one is always the most interesting to me with Pacquiao fans in particular and them choosing when and when not to acknowledge losses. Cotto is damaged good fighting Mayweather 3 yrs after Pacquiao but not when he fights Pacquiao when he got beat up twice by Clottey and Margarito 8-12 leading into the fight how does that make sense.

A guy like Ortiz is forever labeled a quitter because he bowed out a fight 2/3 yrs before fighting Mayweather even though greater fighters then him have quit before (see No Mas) yet its ok to fight guys like Hatton/Mosley almost directly after being KO'd/dominated

P4P I'd never but a guy like Morales over a Baldomir but a guy on a 8 yr unbeaten streak and the the clear cut champ is a better win then a guy who had 1 win and 6 losses during the time he fought Pacquiao.

They have ******ed fanboys on both sides but it seems Mayweather fans argure a win as legit based off what the opponent was doing and where they were rated Pacquiao fans argure a win as legit because Pacquiao is so small and his opponents used to be good
Not to sound like I'm bashing because Pacquiao is a great and entertaining fighter but Rios/Broner come into the ring at 147+ at SFW/LW there ducking bigger fighters Pacquiao comes into the ring at SFW the same as Mayweather at JMW and Pacquiao is too small. I mean do people realize that since 03 the only fight on an extended winning streak is ****ing D.Diaz who was the weakest champ and Bradley who he lost to

When Floyd fought Cotto at 154 then he was basically the man but not lineal till he fought the #1 contender in Canelo.

If u dont believe in the Ring then what do u belive in?? your own fantasy rankings??:lol: Well that doesnt work bro, u cant mkae up your own lineal titles :hi:

Look cotto tool 2 vicious beatings before he fought floyd.

2 beatings is worst than one.

    That not hard to understand.

And boy Pac beat him good. Unlike floyd. No comparison.

A lot of the time the ring goes hand in hand with the lineal title but not all the time. If you know much about boxing you would know this. In fact even the issuing of the ring belts is new as they stopped it years before.

The weight class is 154lbs and I have no problem with any private company like the WBA or the ring or anyone else giving out their hardware for a catchweight fight or anything else.

But you cannot determine who is the best at 154 and below and then limit the class it just doesnt make any sense.

The one thing that really bothers me about Mayweather- unlike Pac is his unwillingness to take that extra leap , that risk.

I have no doubt that the last 4 or so lineal middleweight champs would have been beated by Mayweather , some easily but he wont take the risks that the Pacs and de la hoyas of this world did and its to his detrement.

Anyone can go undefeated if you don't fight your biggest rivals.

Pacquiao is an eight time champion, it's one thing to talk about being an eight time champ, Pacquiao has actually done it.

Pac has beaten more undefeated fighters than Mayweather. I'll give it to you that Mayweather's undefeated opponents are of a higher grade however — unless you want to count Pac's win over Bradley.

    i dont get it..

Fighting Genaro was a risk, fighting an undefetad Corrales who was KO everybody was a risk, mayweather didnt have to take that fight.

Moving up and fighting Castillo who was also KO everybody with no tune up or anything is a risk. Fighting DLH at 154 was a risk, fighting a power puncher and lineal champ in Mosley was a risk. fighting Cotto at 154 when Mayweather didnt look to good at 154 in his pervious fight was a risk. fighting a prime Canelo was a risk.

maybe u dont wanna say risk because Mayweather is that good but no way he went 45-0 and took no risk, dumb statment and has no grounds for arguement.
