What a piece of **** Mayweather is. Talkin all this **** about a man and not even fighting him.

I don't even want to see what kind of karma Mayweather has coming. For his own sake, he should clean up his act, and do what he has to do to get back to level ground.

Starting with giving Pacquaio the fight and takin that ass whippin.

He can't pay off Pacquaio like he did with Canelo.

you only have a rival if u lose to somebody. Mayweather hasnt so its not his fault...well it is because hw whooped everybody

8 time champ is hella hard to get but not when u lose your title then win it again, that makes u a 2 time champ already.

    who coined the damaged goods?:rofl

wtf are you blaberring with fight night weight? it is unofficial.

who knows what is floyd's weight fight night he doesnt get weighed officially. his fight night weights is based of what he says, which he can manipulate.

ill go with what marquez said after the fight.

    "its like fighting a giant".:hi:

floyd fights people he can beat, doenst matter if they re rated, champion, undefeated, w/e.

if he is not sure or he doesnt liek the odds, cheat them , in scales of example, or drained them, go on retirement/vacation or outright duck them.

did you say pac lost to bradley? lmao. case close. no argument.:deal

Head to head I got PBF all day. Otherwise it's a tough call. Floyd has no win near as good as Pac 's domination of a prime Barrera. Does he?

ummm Mayweather knows he can beat everybody, I know he can, and thats why hes 45-0

I dont see anybody that can beat him unless he goes to 160 and I still favor him of Kid or GGG. and he doesnt have to go to middle weight

I would say no but his biggest fights he's always stepped up and did great. the way he destroyed Corrlaes says alot.

plus still performing and dominating prime fighters and barley losing any rounds goes a long way too

Im one of the few that think he will. i would say Septemeber but unless Pac tells Arum to make the fight then it wont happen.

Im gonna say 2015 because there really isnt 4 more opponets for Mayweather without Pac in there. plus pac will sign with Golden Boy next year for sure or he has no fights at all.

Every person hes called out hes fought. Same people said Mayweather would never fight Mosley, well he did. people said back in the day he would never give Castillo a rematch because he lost the first fight, of course Mayweather takes immeadiate rematch. just from what i seen

Point taken every fight is a risk and theres some good fights in there.

He has not taken risks to the same level as Pac has thats for sure.

Also Mosley was the rings no 1 contender. He was NOT the lineal champ.

People always confuse these. The title was vacant.
That position can be changed from different fights in the ranks and you can drop down.

Shane beat Margo who beat Cotto who won that WBA strap in a vacant title fight against Quintana. There is no line. There was no unification.

As far as answering the original question, Pacquiao is ahead by a reasonably large margin.

There are really two things Mayweather has over Pacquiao:
    1. He's undefeated
    2. He has the more definitive result over Marquez

Being undefeated is an accomplishment coveted more by the casual boxing fan than those who really know the sport. If you expose yourself frequently enough to young, strong and hungry challengers an eventual loss is an inevitability. Retiring undefeated or maintaing an undefeated record for as many or more fights than Mayweather is far from a unique accomplishment. What matters is not the win % but the opponents over and circumstances in which these wins are achieved.

Pacquiao has titles in 8 divisions and been lineal in 4, both of which are unique accomplishments in boxing. He has better wins over their non-mutual opponents (1 stop and 1 clear decision over Barrera and 2 stops over Morales > 1 stop over Corrales and 1 clear decision over Castillo).

Pacquiao also has more electrifying and decisive wins over their mutual opponents. The only exception to this is Marquez, and admittedly Pacquiao's lack of a clear win over Marquez does impinge upon his legacy, but it doesn't come close to outweighing his other superior achievements.

Some will try to denigrate Pac's wins by saying for instance, De La Hoya and Cotto were at healthier weights for their fights with Mayweather. These are perfectly valid points, but if we want to factor that in by the same token we have to denigrate Mayweather's wins over Marquez (jumping up significantly in weight, and even after this Mayweather came in several pounds over the catchweight) and Hatton (coming up to 147).

Ultimately Pacquiao's wins in a wider range of weights puts him comfortably ahead of Mayweather on the ATG list. Since turning 19 Pac has fought from 112-150. Since turning 19 Maweather has fought from 130-154. That fact that Pacquiao has fought at 150 is literally equivalent to Mayweather fighting at 168. There's some food for thought.

lmao. he already los tto castillo.

"he was walking down cotto", remember?.

floyd knows he cant deal with the pacman.

why did you think he signed marquez on the eve of pac-hatton? who asked floyd to fight marquez? you? anyone who did, post here your previous post/thread?

he knew what was coming and he didnt want none of that.

signing marquez bought him time until he can think of something to duck pacquiao. he cant retire again can he?

    take the test lmao.

he did not ask marquez, the guy who arguably beat pac, to take the test did he?

this is a behaviour of a guy who didnt want the fight. it is really simple.

years later he ask people who to fight between pac, khan, maidana. this is really laghuable.

Good post. You forgot to mention Canelo also being drained and fighting at a catchweight as well. I put Pacquiao comfortably above Mayweather for most of the above reasons.
