I dont think Ottke could be blamed for a referee

He was still out pointed and clearly lost the fight. The ref looking after Ottke so he is partly if not fully to blame.

Not sure how Ottke is to blame for someone elses actions. Best you explain that one

Reid beat him clearly and was robbed. What has the ref got to do with it?

The bolded are nowhere near ATG, what the **** is wrong with you? Also, I'm having a huge problem with people just saying "Klitschkos". They are no monolith and have to account for their resumes individually and Vitali's resume is hilariously bad and NOWHERE near ATG calibre.

I think putting Cotto in that list is equally laughable. The guy has only beaten one incumbent champion in Yuri Foreman- hardly ATG material. Miguel seems a good guy and is exciting to watch but the amount of love he gets on ESB is ridiculous. Definitely the most overhyped boxer of the last decade. Even after the comprehensive losses...

Yep. Not even sure if Cotto will be a first ballot Hall of Famer, let alone an ATG

Seems like just about any old body can be an ATG these days.

What has Ottke? He wasnt one of the judges. So once again explain how you think Ottke was to blame. It wasnt like Ottke was found to have something in his system that he shouldnt have

    Time for a lesson.
I will go over who you put in bold and correct you.

Maske - beat every fighter that he fought, and avenged his only loss, was a top LHW champ, won 11 world title fights, beat big punching IBF LHW champ Williams, beat future LHW champ and 2 weight champ Rocchigiani, beat ATG HOFer Hill in an amazing come back win.
Tell me how many other fighters could retire be gone over a decade and then come back and beat a world champ? Amazing ATG achievement

Eubank - Fantastic 2 weight champ, Out of Eubanks 18 WBO SMW title fights 14 of those fights were against fighters who were, had been or became top 10 SMWs. One was a unification and another was against the undefeated former IBF SMW champ (relinquished his title). In fact 6 of the fighters he faced had been or became world champs. Thats not including MW. A fighter who beat Benn, Rocchigiani, Malinga to name a few and who made all those defences. ATG.

Michalczewski - who made over 20 LHW defences, was a 2 weight champ, won WBO WBA IBF LHW titles, beat many quality fighters and champs, beat the fighter who was stripped of the WBC title and had claim to every belt Jones was wearing at that time. ATG

Ottke - Wins a world title in his 13th fight later unified and has many top wins, in fact lets just look at what ATG Ottke did.
Ottke made 21 title defences and was a winner of 22 world title fights.
Ottkes reign was impressive when you consider he wasnt a puncher and didnt have an equalizer in his fists.
    Look at who Ottke beat

    ATG

N Benn - Fantastic 2 weight champ who drew with another ATG in Eubank, beat the favoured G McClellen in an epic battle that sadly ended in a bad way. Made several defences against good comp and beat many top rated fighters including Wharton, Malinga, Gimenez, Galvano, Barkley, DeWitt

Z Erdei - Fantastic 2 weight world champ, who beat the fighter that closely beat DM in very clear fashion, M Sahnoune, J Gonzalez, H Garay twice, all LHW champs and also T Ulrich and went up to CW to win the WBC title against G Fragomeni giving away I believe over a stone at the weigh in. Around 11 defences and didnt lose belt in ring. ATG

W Klitschko - Shocked I need to give you a run down of this fantastic HW reign and unified HW champ who has taken on many top HWs. If you really need a run down of the excellence I will do, but I think this may be just a personnal dislike on your part here
V Klitschko - See above except for the unification part

Haye - 2 weight world champ Won WBC WBA WBO Ring CW titles and the WBA HW title all in around 24 fights including a loss often away, enough said

V Hill - 2 weight world champ who beat some very good fighters. Tell me how many defences of the LHW title did the excellent Hill make? When you find out you will soon consider him a LHW ATG.

Cotto - fought the whos who of his era even if he hasnt won every fight. Lets look at who he did beat Judah, Margarito, Malignaggi, Ndou, Maussa, Torres, Bailey, Corley, Quintana, Mosely, Foreman, Clottey, then you have Urkal, Mayorga, Branco, Abdullaev, Sosa, Pinto. Many of those became champs after Cotto beat them and had been previously.

    :hi:

The 2010 list? I notice some you have question marks against and some you dont. i take it the ones without you are saying already about? If so, Rigondeaux may get somewhere for winning a world title at such short notice and beating Donaire though is too early to say, but Ward? He hasnt beaten a top undefeated SMW with pedigree yet, his best win is an unwell, rusty, double vision suffering fighter who had already been exposed, He hasnt got the resume of Ottke yet (in my opinion) who you didnt note. Shorly too early to say for either even though I think both may make it.
