I had the exact same leg break from my football days, only the tibia and and fibula both snapped a few inches higher for me than for Silva. Needless to say, the colleges quit calling. I'll give a quick rundown: it feels like a grenade going off inside your leg, shock kicks in pretty quickly, and he'll have fun probably being outfitted with a big ass plaster cast that runs from his ankle to his hip for a few months. :!:
His chin is more glass. Pathetic punch resistance. LOL to think this guy wanted to fight Roy Jones. Even Roy jones WORST ATTRIBUTE (chin) would win the fight for him.
not really man- he hit him clearly in the eat, messed up his equilibrium and then he recovered quickly....
If Silva's chin or shin was "glass" he would have never reached the point where some scrub on ESB, who will never achieve anything close to what Anderson Silva has achieved, questions the durability of Silva's body. Glass chins and shins don't allow for long reigning high level careers in the blood and bruises business.
Only in MMA can a glass jawed fighter with a pair of glass legs can be considered an ATG living legend.
don't try too hard. Most of these people giving their opinions on glass jaws etc. don't even know how to wrap hands and probably aren't athletic enough to play badminton.
Well he was on one leg as he got hit while throwing a knee. He sure did bloody Weidman up from the bottom for someone who almost got pounded out. Yeah Weidman won the first, and got the better of it by far, but he also got busted up by a guy he had top position on for most of the round. In the first fight Anderson took several flush chin shots straight on. The punch that dropped him in the first fight was a wide looping hook from the side. In the second fight the punch that dropped him was a right hook to the ear. I didn't like the angle on that last leg kick, great check by Weidman, paired with the angle of the kick, led to a nasty break.
He got dominated the 1st round was 10-8. He got knocked down from the muay thai clinch then ate punches and elbows for the rest of the round on his back.
