Khan will target Pacquiao if Mayweather picks Maidana

    I really hope Mayweather picks Maidana, Khan vs Pacquiao would actually be more fun.

    I thought GBP/TR fights aren't ever possible?

    Or is that only a special case for Mayweather? (He's actually not even GBP and not under a contract but let's just use this excuse to allow him to duck fights)

    I don't expect Khan to make demands like "Take random testing with the organization I pick", "Take $40 million while I take all the rest including 100% of the PPV earnings", "Leave Bob Arum", "Fight only in MGM", "Join TMT" and whatever else I'm forgetting.

    TR and GB hosted many fights together. One fight which stands out compared to all the rest is Golden Boy's founder Oscar De La Hoya vs Manny Pacquiao.

    I hope so.
    Both are imo pretty much a given to Mayweather and Manny but for excitement Khan v Manny would be the better option.
    Just adding,the excitement would be an obliteration by Manny.Old habits die hard with Khan and he would try and fight fire with fire,and imo it would be pretty short.

    Pac vs Khan would be a very interesting match-up and I'd like to see it.

    As for Floyd, I also hope he officially picks Maidana and NOT Khan.

    Why anyone wants to see Maidana against Floyd is a mystery to me. Styles make fights and this would be a horrible match up. Maidana would be lucky to get a punch all night on Floyd, it would be a boring one-sided UD. There are much better and exciting match-ups for Maidana.

    As for Khan, Pac is stylistically bad for him. Pac would just swarm Khan and TKO him early, as Khan simply hasn't got the power to keep him away. Floyd is a better match up where we'll see a proper boxing match.

    I agree that styles make fights and Khan may have the right style to trouble Floyd due of his speed but, but Khan didn't beat someone notable to deserve a shot @ Floyd.

    Yeah, this fight would've been legit and made all sense if Khan would've beaten Alexander.

    Maidana is the more meritorious fighter because he f'ucking beat and exposed Adrien Broner ! :yep:deal

    Could be an interesting match up seeing as Manny seems to have lost a little step and Khan knows him from sparring but I get the feeling Pacquiao's power and aggressive style is all wrong for Khan and Amir would get stopped early. I think Mayweather/Khan is different because Floyd is defensive and lacks power so it could last more rounds and be quite interesting. If Floyd doesn't fight Khan I hope he fights Pacquiao(lol), Bradley, Garcia or anyone except Maidana really. Is the Cotto/Martinez fight official yet? If Miguel is willing to face Sergio, maybe Floyd could/should be.

    Where has he been? It's pointless even talking about TR vs GB fights because while Bob Arum is on the scene it is never going to happen. If we know that, so must Khan.
