The Hatton fight did 1.2 million buys in the UK. Better than in the US: 920,000. That's right, Hatton was the main draw. You need a local boy to move the needle wherever you go. Khan tends to do half as well as Hatton so he could probably expect 500 k buys in the UK.

AK doesn't have enough fans. Even the Muslim brothers I know can't be arsed with him and he had a decent following at one point. Sad truth is he's become a bit Of an embarrassment.

Every ten years?, this is a joke fight and a complete mismatch. Khan doesn't belong in the ring with someone like Mayweather. The only reason this would happen is money, when it comes to ability Khan has no chance in hell.

On topic, this would most likely sell and sell big. Even if Khan isn't very favored in England he's still fighting Mayweather and that's the one and only reason why this would most definitely sell good.

400k-500k sounds about right in the UK. Can't see it making anything close to what Hatton makes.

No, definitely not. I'm not sure if you missed the topic but the thread is about how much it could make in England.

I thought Khan already had a contract with Boxnation, or is that fight by fight? Also I doubt it does 1m at 5 in the morning. It would do over 1m if it was UK time, but I don't know a single person that would pay 15quid to stay up until the crack of dawn just to watch Khan get sparked.

He did half as well at Hatton, but he's lost a lot of credibility over the last couple of years, what was Khans last proper PPV show, McCloskey on Primetime?

Ofcourse it will. The sizeable asian population will purchase it in droves as well as the whites in their pubs & homes so they can see a muslim p*** get his skull bashed in. People who hate & love khan will be tuned in to this. This is floyd mayweather, the best fighter of our generation fighting a UK fighter, an olympian famous one at that. Pretty obvious..

Mayweather is a big draw which will help with the PPV sales in the UK but in reality this fight will do nowhere near 1 million buys in the UK.

Does anyone really give Khan a chance? Nobody in the UK even in their wildest dreams and hopes thinks Khan can win. Hatton did so well because some people had deluded themselves into believing an undefeated Hatton could beat Mayweather. With Khan losing to far inferior opposition nobody is going to waste their money and pay to watch Khan lose.
