Two scorecards are ridiculous, robbery in making.

Two of the rounds I gave Felix in the first half were flagged in my commentary as being extremely close, so if you swung those 'swing rounds' you could have something in the neighborhood of 117-111 ...but 119-109? :huh Just one round for Alvarado?

The 4th was close but clear for him and in the 9th and 11th he surged and overwhelmed Ioka.

Not to mention - there were swing rounds the other way as well. Ioka's rounds in the 2nd half were close, round 10 in particular leaving a strong case to be made for Alvarado.

No robbery; Kazuto deserved the W - just not by near shutout.

    The very last, I believe.

The rivaling Tokyo and Osaka bills were AFAIK the only pro boxing scheduled anywhere today.

...and Ioka vs. Alvarado started & ended after Uchiyama vs. Kaneko did. (which itself reportedly boasted some high drama, though I've not seen the FOTY tag slapped on it by those who saw it)

Was the fight just good or a real FOTY Contender?
