Well, he (Ward) doesn't. You need a punch for that.

Stevenson, GGG, Rigondeaux, Bradley are the best choices. For quality, you gotta go with Rigondeaux or Bradley. I feel Rigondeaux will never get fighter of the year, he reached the mountain top and still wont receive that honor. Stevenson, Bradley, Kovalev, and GGG can have a better 2014. He had a great year and so did a lot of fighters.

i'd give it to bradley but when you're wobbling around at the end of your fight having been knocked silly, it kinda eliminates you as fighter of the year.

I think he could get the nod if he was very active. I know that's not the M.O for top fighters in this day and age, but if he fought more then 2x this year and won as impressively as he did against top flight opponents (like he did vs Nonito / Agbeko) I don't think they could deny him.

He doesn't take all that much punishment so he might be one of the fighters who can do this sort of thing.

Floyd isn't scared to fight bigger men.

GG stays in his place like a good lil foreigner...fighting bums in a dead division.
