Lewis has better resume and even though Vitali was doing well in their fight, LL won. Wlad's career is not over yet, so we need to see out where he stands after he retires.
In the event the fight is stopped because of injury the outcome depends a lot on how this injury was caused. There are multiple scenarios that depend on whether the injury was caused by a legal punch, was intentional or accidental. The refs are frequently not in the position to see what caused the injury and that leads to controversial decisions. Let's take Klitschko vs Lewis, for example. The cut that stopped the fight was caused by a thumb not a legal punch. The ref was on the side of the punch so there was no way he could have seen that. The doctor later stopped the fight because swelling from the cut above the eye was blocking Vitali's line of sight. By the boxing rules if the injury was caused by an intentional or an accidental foul and the fight continued and later stopped because legal punches made the injury worse - technical decision (scorecards) decide the winner. If there was an instant replay in place for ref to review how the cut was caused Vitali may as well had won a technical decision.
No facts there matey, just the usual bull**** spouted. The reply was with reference to the poster saying that Lewis was offering his experience as some sort of charity, and just so happened to always be in Klit opponent corners around that time, also around the time he was making continual statements in the press about how easily he beat Vitali and how he would beat him easier next time then retiring because his mum told him to. As for Ruddock, Tyson beat the **** out of him twice and essentially destroyed his career, Lewis fought the leftovers. Briggs was a bum, he had already been knocked out by Darrol Wilson but wobbled Lewis in an up and down fight, the win didn't mean much. Holyfield was shot to pieces, went on to lose to absolute bums as I already said. See, it's not that I don't have answers, I just can't always be bothered repeating myself. What's the point when dealing with ******s? It's like talking to a brick wall.
Prove the cut was caused by a thumb and not a punch or shut the hell up. You've been called out on it many times, you've never produced any convincing evidence to back up your claim, so unless you can prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt then get over it, and if you can prove it then you shouldn't be wasting your time writing bull**** on a boxing forum, you should be petitioning the WBC to retroactively change the outcome of the fight to an NC.
