Testing wasn't a big thang in 09.Not many boxers had to go through that extensive drug test OSDT whatever. Now it seems to be a trend. Thanks to Floyd tantrums. A lot of slick boxers are caught even in his own gym.

 

Floyd won. Pac won't sit back and counter like Judah. He will be the one being aggressive and timed. You see what happened when Pac just tries to go all out against you. He got ktfo, lmao. No shakes no wins.

Manny, a defeated fighter, needed Floyd way more than vice versa. He should have made the fight then by agreeing to Floyd's terms. Get him as high as you can, do the testing, don't be afraid of needles for christ sake and make the fight. Beat him, and then you hold all the cards in a rematch and will make a fortune plus help cement a legendary status.

Long and short of it is, Manny blew it. Yes floyd played his games and it made it real tough, but manny could have made that fight. Now, he is damaged goods. He is just not all that anymore. He is losing decisions, he is getting brutally knocked out. He actually needs the money desparately and is in trouble here and abroad.

Manny had everthing to gain from this. If floyd won, it would not have done much for him. People don't like him and think he has a history of ducking dangerous fights and has a caustic empty wit as well as what some regard as a sleazy family. He has little in the way of any charisma and basically will be forgotten once he retires, probably RJJ style.

Manny blew it, plain and simple.

 

How about using your 20/20 vision to look at what the scales and other measurements say?

 

None of the fans or public even knew about the OSDT stipulations in the fight negotiations until it was made a big deal AFTER Manny chose not to do it. Those were secret terms UNTIL Manny refused and then it became public. So let's not act like Mayweather's tantrums are the reason. It's not like the public and boxing world were in the room during the negotiations, there are many requests that should have been agreed to without any hoopla or publication, and OSDT should have been one. If Manny had simple agreed and things went smoothly, none of the fans would have even known about the OSDT issue unless HBO were to mention it on 24/7. In the grand scheme of things, a drug test is an insignificant request for a 50 million fight, and anyone who cant see that is blind. A drug test should have never been enough to stand in the way of Manny making that much money.
