floyd has no reason to fight Manny
he puts himself at risk fighting someone who refused drug testing plus Manny is just losing and getting knocked out at this point in his recent fights, it won't benefit floyd if he beats him... maybe if he can get a 90-/10 split it might be worth looking at for him

well, manny refused basic drug testing, do you want to fight someone like that just in general?

at this point though, manny is severely damaged goods, he is losing decisions, getting KTFO, being hounded by financial authorities in multiple countries ... what's the upside for Floyd to fight someone who refused drug testing and is now a thoroughly and multibly defeated fighter? i think if floyd can get the percentage very high in his favor and a public apology from Manny for not doing the drug testing earlier than i think that would be a good reason but other than that, manny is not worth it

Not trying to troll but honestly do feel pac was jucing back in 09. I mean why now, his whole excuse was that he could not take testing on day of the fight because it would make him weak, & he can not test 14 days before because he would be to heavy into trainning & would be distracted. Now he is willing to be weak on fight night & also be distracted by blood testing?

Look here guys, Im called juantard all the time but I don't doubt the possiblity of JMM juicing as I dont doubt Pac was juicing. We have no proof but this possiblity would make the most sense. Pac clearly denied drug testing for the most money he could of ever made. His pride to him means more then $, good man he did not want to risk his legacy.

It's because of that A-side meth.
Or maybe its because his health comes first.
Perhaps its because by his own words he's a "rich coward".
Actually its because people keep putting words in his mouth, he never said Pac was next.
    "What if I lose?"
The fans and the media aint gonna pay for him once his done, his job is like a cop, one shot and you gone.
Most probably its because he never agreed to going into business with 50 cent that involved fighting Pacquiao, rather dump bff than face that midget.

Oh ye, its because he dont deal with Bob Arum....

Manny didnt refuse basic drug testing. He accepted basic drug testing which is standard Nevada drug testing, in addition to that which was new back then, he agreed to unlimited blood testing up to 21 days before the fight, and 1 immediately after the fight, as well as unlimited urine testing up to any date. Again, more than what anyone has agreed to at that time.

Drug testing was an excuse, as was the purse split, and now Arum.

"I do hope it is some sort of miscommunication and that Pacquiao is not even aware of what is going on and he will clear this up and say what is good enough for these great Olympic athletes is good enough for him and Floyd, and he agrees to do these drug tests.

"Team Mayweather is very surprised that an elite athlete like Manny Pacquiao would refuse drug testing procedures which Floyd has already agreed to and have been agreed to by many other top athletes. Why would Pacquiao refuse to have the same kind of testing that Lance Armstrong, Michael Phelps, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have had?"

Told of Pacquiao's reluctance to be tested, Mayweather said he should explain himself.

"I understand Pacquiao not liking having his blood taken because, frankly, I don't know anyone who really does," Mayweather said in a statement. "But in a fight of this magnitude, I think it is our responsibility to subject ourselves to sportsmanship at the highest level. I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same. It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night.

"I hope that this is either some miscommunication or that Manny will change his mind and step up and allow these tests, which were good enough for all these other great athletes, to be performed by USADA."

Said Leonard Ellerbe, a Mayweather adviser, in a statement, "We hope that Manny will do the right thing and agree to the testing as it is an egregious act to deny the testing and hence, deny the millions of fans the right to see this amazing fight. We just want to make sure there is a level playing field in a sport that is a man-to-man contest that relies on strength and ability.

"I still hope this decision is coming from someone in Pacquiao's camp and not Manny himself as it would be a shame that an athlete of his stature and who represents his whole country would not be able to show the public or his fellow athletes that he agrees to the highest standards in sports competition."

Top Rank spokesman Lee Samuels said the company declined to comment.

Mayweather should just forget manny unless he gets like at least an 80% split. Otherwise it is just charity to give a fight to someone who refused testing and that has already been knocked the **** out in the last 12 months and who desparately needs money.

Why did he refuse testing that Mayweather himself would subject himself to? The same kind of thorough testing that has busted many famous athletes?

Why? It doesn't make any sense. You simply do the testing and it shows you as clear. Easy.

Manny had gone up a lot in weight and grew his strength. If you test anyone in the world thoroughly it should be manny.

That he refused to do the testing is at best moronic and as history has now shown, was a huge mistake on his part, as now he is damaged goods, having lost decisions, been KTFO and desperate for cash.
