Kovalev was indeed dropped by Boone in their first fight - he's in good company though. Doesn't really tell us so much on its own, he's eaten a good few flush shots that I've seen (including in Boone II - where alongside a flush hook to the jaw he says he had his ear 'broken' - whatever that means). He does get hit though - so it is relevant, it's just that his relentless aggression stops his opponents firing back often or with authority, at least so far...
Or get knocked out. Pascal has fought better comp. Kovalev hasn't fought anybody that Pascal couldn't KO even faster.
Can one of the best punchers in the sport KO a sloppy, ambush fighter with poor stamina and technique. Yeah he just might be able to pull it off. LOL
