Floyd is like 5'8" and has a naturally small frame, that's why he started at such a low weight and can easily make 147 now. He would be a tiny MW. Top MW's are often 6'1" - 6'2" (think Jermaine Taylor, Bernard Hopkins, Kelly Pavlik etc).
You say yourself that weight divisions are used because it's a way to gauge how much power you can give and receive etc which just proves that Floyd isn't a 160 fighter.
If they both weigh the same during the weigh in and in the ring then they are the same size as far as I'm concerned. If guys (pac, JMM) think the guys at WW have too much of a "size" advantage over them they should drop down to where they belong. You say length is a form of size but so is thickness and especially weight/overall body mass.

If that was true then why does Pacquiao have no issue with OSDT now? He's done a complete 180 on the issue.

    Where there is smoke....

So from what I'm reading here, OP's basis for Floyd being the significantly bigger man is not based on size or weight, but some amateurish conjecture about being able to see on TV that Floyd has wide shoulders and kinda almost nearly looks the same size as Saul Alvarez

The following statements are probably correct:

Mayweather is slightly taller with a long reach for a guy his height
Pacquiao is stockier and carries more weight in his lower body (probably why he hits so hard)

OP you can decide who is "bigger" based on the above

It's already been effected by not fighting him when the fight should've happened.

If he fought him now it will help his legacy somewhat but won't define him like it would've done in 2010

    Floyd has changed the sport.
Guys copy HIS style not Manny's:D

    THAT is legacy,son.

You don't see anybody falling-in on one foot with their hands down trying to be like Arum's puppet.

Pac will be remembered for getting face-planted by a guy that couldn't touch Floyd.:deal

All Manny had to do was sign on the dotted line when he had a 5050 split and a 14 day cutoff.

People will remember who walked away.

Mayweather is already admired by his peers and acknowledged as the best fighter of his era....:hi:

The image of Manny laying face down on the canvas for so long people thought he was dead will forever be apart of his legacy.

    It is what it is.

    Really?

If this hurts Floyd why are people paying to see him and not Manny??

Nobody tuned in for Manny's last fight.

    Floyd's last fight set records.:hi:

It's still affected negatively by the lack of the fight not happening. More so for Floyd since Pac has a better resume, but both all-time standings have suffered as a result.

Good for Floyd. I couldn't care less how much Mayweather sells, the fans have gotten screwed by the fights not happening and continue to shell out money to watch these two face overmatched (or perceived overmatched) opposition.
