Won't do anything. Both fighters were under a lot more pressure to make the fight a few years ago and it didn't happen. I don't think it could be more evident that Floyd doesn't want the fight now(and I doubt he ever did) nor any fighter that could pose too much of a risk for his taste, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about him facing Amir Khan or Marcos Maidana as his next opponent. Besides that, Golden Boy isn't likely to put Canelo in there with Pacquiao even if Pacquiao joined GB to make the fight, which is probably what it would take with the Top Rank/GBP drama. And lastly, Canelo isn't Floyd. Pacquiao defeating him in impressive fashion would just mean the same as before, Pacquiao's style is suited for generating stoppage wins against most of their common opposition whereas Floyd's safety-first economic style does not.

the only way to put this to rest is for Floyd to find his balls and get in the ring with Pac.

If Pac loses again, it probably will be put to rest.

    That's not the point, Rodney.

Anybody with an ounce of boxing knowledge or analytic ability would rank Floyd as the favourite.

What Marvin Hagler (and I) are saying is that Floyd fears Pac.

He may be a bit less stressed now at the prospect of facing the midget, but from Pac's KO of Cotto till JMM's KO of Pac, Floyd got a little tightness and butterflies in his bowels at the mention of Pac's name.

Sure, he would have been the favourite, but he wasn't sure enough.

Too close for comfort for Money.

As for the legacy bit, it will always damage Floyd's resume that he ducked Pac when it mattered.

You know how you had an off-topic section? Well, just make one and call it a Manny/Floyd section, and have all the related posts in there.

'The Main Forum' is a joke.

"See, people fail to realize, this is a business, You know, my next fight, I'll be 37 years old. It's not about working harder; it's about working smarter...It's about taking less punishment as you could possibly take for the highest reward...I'm not scared of nobody. I'm not scared of no opponent at all...when I faced Diego Corrales, he was undefeated. When I faced Ricky Hatton, he was undefeated. When I faced Canelo Alvarez, he was undefeated...there's certain opponents that I'm looking for."

I'm not scared.. You should take the test first and take a flat fee w/o ppv and oh you should also leave your promoter in case you agree to both the first two terms. :)

And maybe who knows? I might come up with another demand.
