    Round 10

Truax is doubling light jabs stepping in, then springing out and running quickly around Duran to set up an uppercut from his blindside as he turns. Quick alternating body hooks by Truax, getting his guard up and jabbing before Duran can exploit the gap in his defense. Wild leaping left hook by Duran, slow and easily spotted by Truax who blocks as Duran is still in midair. Truax is spoiling, moving away from Duran and constantly tying him up with both arms encircling Duran's and clasping behind his back. Duran is raising his fist to get the crowd to support him even though he's the outsider and they are Truax partisans. Duran puts everything into a 1-2 falling in but comes up short as Truax slides back. Truax holds as Duran flurries on his body shoving him into the ropes. Both are exhausted.

    10-9 Truax

    98-92 Truax

96-94 Truax. Duran won the last round, but allowed Truax to out hustle him for extended stretches and that cost him the fight, imo.

Nope. This guy gave Jermain Taylor a bad scare and boxed Don George's ears off before stopping him.

That should tell you all you need to know regarding a) what Taylor has left nowadays and b) the ring savvy of George. (hint: it makes Brandon Rios' seem like Niccolino Locche's...)

Whatever. A lot of toss-ups. I'm not going to argue with you and don't really care what you think. I have no problem with a closer scorecard or even a draw, but I stand by mine being reasonable. Most of those were swing rounds. Neither man asserted himself and broke away with it during most frames.

I wonder how the cards look. I bet all three arrived there by different means. (so none of them gave the same rounds all the same way)

    Just that kind of fight.

Not the worse decision, really. Not the worse fight, either. A little sloppy, but it was spirited throughout and fought at a decent enough pace. Have seen worse, that's for sure.
