lmao. and who was the opponent that tested the 2013 floyd better than castillo 10 yrs ago. skills = competition. floyd skirted around tough competition over and over it is not even funny. it will take years and years of arguing til pac is 80yrs old. then floyd will beat him without vada and *****s will declare they were right years ago.
If they fought tomorrow, Pac would KHTFO...... Floyd is hoping Pac will re sign with Arum next yr and give him permanent reason to duck him forever!
Hopefully we'll get Khan and Martinez in 2014, and Pac in 15 then bye bye 47(27)-1(1)-0 Floyd Mayweather Jr Floyd UD Amir Khan Floyd TKO8 Martinez Pacqioua KO2 Floyd deal:deal
Listen we both know that any fighter in most classes would chop off a leg to get in the ring with Mayweather, its like winning a couple of lotterys at the same time, doesnt matter if you lose or are at a disadvantage- you will be rich !! But the point that Fraud is trying to sell is that somehow- Alvarez wants this and it's all his idea, after all the sh! he talked , itsd a joke He (mayweather) is a joke and makes a fool of his fans.:good Canelo: >>> "I'll tell you the truth of what happened," Alvarez said in Spanish through translator Eric Gomez. "Why would I give up the weight? I'm at 154. I'm the 154-pound champion. "I wouldn't do that. But when the (fight) negotiations started, they wanted me to go to 147. I said that's physically impossible. I couldn't do it. Then they inched up to 150. I said I can't do it, that's impossible. Those days are over. I can't make that weight anymore, I've grown. "Then they went up to 151. And then finally, so we could make the fight, I said, 'If anything, I'll give up two pounds. I'll go up to 152. I agreed to that. Then they tried to force me to be quiet and not to mention anything that they came up with the weight of 152. And that's why ... I haven't said anything until now. "They said we were idiots, we were stupid, that we were the ones that wanted the catchweight."
Mayweather is a coward We all know gasnelo has no stamina Draining him to 152 was the act of a desperate coward who is old and scared of manny Floyd need to go back to fighting women and security guards
I wonder how many haters will will make a new user the day after Floyd defeats Manny? I just hope a few of you have the balls to keep your old identity so I can laugh in your faces!!!!
This is pretty much the definition of a paradox, or catch 22 in layman. If Floyd fought the guys that you think he should have fought, then he probably would not have fought the guys he did fight. That would lead to this same discussion. Margo instead of Oscar = Margo is too slow. If he didn't fight Judah, people would say Judah would have beat him with speed. Cotto at 140 would have been too green. Kosta would have been over rated. If he didn't fight Alvarez, then he would have been avoiding someone with a size advantage that is young and powerful. Paul Williams would have been an unrated win, as he really wasn't all that good. Hatton was too small when Floyd fought him, first time at the weight and all(according to critics). If Floyd never fought him it would have been a missed opportunity to fight an undefeated champion. Over and over again, merry-go-round thinking. You can do this to many a fighter. The problem with this argument, is that it opens your fighter(whom ever that might be ) up to the same scrutiny as well.
Watch out you will confuse them. If you put that much truth in 1 post the *******s/haters get mad. He has the best resume of any active fighter yet somehow it is full of cheerypicks and ducks?
Floyd Vs Ward/Golovkin would be interesting fights. No other challenges out there for Mayweather, not even remotely.
Sadly I think he would beat GGG , and Marinez and most of the past lineal middleweight champs over the past few years as well, yet.. he won't take the risk:-( He wont risk it like Leonard, Hearns, Pacquaio or even De al hoya would. They took the risks, went up that extra weight.
I agree that Floyd most likely wouldn't get the credit he deserves if he beats Pacquiao. There are many people who would instantly discredit his win saying that Pacquiao was out of his prime. However, I viewed Pacquiao as the favorite back then and if I'm correct he was the betting favorite as well. Now I lean towards Mayweather, but I don't believe that it would be easy for him by any means. Also, Erislandy Lara is the man he needs to fight. I don't understand how anyone could dismiss that fight. I don't believe that Floyd could beat Lara from the outside. Lara has 8cm reach advantage and doesn't come forward, I just don't see Floyd being able to outbox him from the outside, but I believe that he would come up with something as he very clever as well. If he beats Lara, I'd have no doubt that he is the best at 154, but that fight really needs to happen. As for Sergio Martinez from his best days, Sergio wins at 160 and I'm pretty sure about that. I could be wrong, but I think that Sergio would be just too big, too strong and too active for Floyd to overcome. However, Mayweather's divisions are 147 and maximum 154 and he shouldn't be ever fighting at middleweight anyway, so the talk about him and Sergio is irrelevant and not realistic in my opinion.
He has allready went up the extra weight. He is the smallest fighter at 154 no doubt about that yet he is the champ. He is a small fighter at 147, where he is also the champ. Danny garcia and Floyd weighed the same amount on fight night in sept even though Danny was fighting 2 weight classes lower that night. It is ridiculous to say the Floyd has not gone up in weight to get better fights. By todays standards of re hydrating Floyd should be fighting at 140 with Garcia and Matthysse!!!!!:hi:
Martinez definitely is past his prime. He lost to Murray in his last fight, ffs. Prime Martinez would have beaten Mayweather as would Paul Williams. Floyd has nothing against fighting post-prime fighters anyway, just look at Mosley. Saying Floyd won't get any credit is just the latest in a long line of excuses made on Floyd's behalf. Everyone knows he would get credit for beating Lara but then the excuse changes to "he brings nothing to the table". If Floyd feels too good he should go into his 6th, 7th, and 8th weight divisions as Pacquiao has.
I agree...Floyd is cursed by his own success. He's mastered both the art of boxing and the business of boxing. He has no equal among his peers in either of these areas.
